We chose to take the private excursion in St Petersburg and paid a little more than we wanted to, but well worth it! Our guide Elizabeth was amazing, she was patient and very knowledgeable. The Church of the spilled Blood was closed when we arrived but she still brought us there for pictures at our request. She also brought us to a souvenir shop and waited patiently and gave us tips. Beautiful city and can't wait to go back. Would highly recommend this tour and well worth the extra $$
