Guests may be picked up from APARTMENT/ANY HOTEL located in the city center (Palace Square) or 6km/miles away from it. The guide will be waiting in your hotel lobby or near the building where your apartment is located. The guide will be holding a sign with your last name written on it.

  • You may stay inside the museum after this tour is over. You can't leave the museum and come back using the same tickets.
  • Please note the visit to the Hermitage does not include the collection of impressionists and post-impressionists which moved to the new General Staff building.
  • This is a private tour and will be catered only to your group.
  • Transfer to the museum which will be done by taxi is included and can be organized only if your hotel is located in the city center of St Petersburg (2-5 km away from the museum). For the guests who are not staying in a hotel or staying in a hotel which is more than 5 km from the city center, the meeting place must be negotiated with a Supplier.

You will love The a Hermitage

Olga was very well versed in The Hermitage and Winter Palace. We enjoyed our time with her and the art work. She is an expert and her English was excellent. And she was super nice! Book this tour and ask for Olga. She also recommended that we stop at Literary Cafe of Alexander Pushkin. It was delightful and delicious after a stroll thru the Hermitage. You can’t possibly see it all, but this 3 hr tour was fabulous and chocked full of history and beauty.

The Hermitage is vast, there is so much art work you could get lost for days. The interior decorations are a sight to behold. Maria our tour guide was amazing! She got us into the museum in a timely manner, had great English skills, was incredibly knowledgeable about the art and honestly we would not want to do the tour any other way.

Highly recommended! Our guide was not only able to keep our teenager interested, but also to share her fascination about Rembrandt' masterpieces. Since the Hermitage is that huge, it is worth to spend the money to be able to focus on most amazing part of the building, history, and art.

Guide extraordinaire qui savaient toute l'histoire des Tsars, du musée et des tableaux les plus importants. Une visite de trois heures dont même les ados n'ont pas vu le temps passer. Idéal avec guide car on évite les attentes et elle nous emmène aux lieux stratégiques sans détour. Visite en chaise roulante aussi possible sans problèmes, il y en a à disposition sur place.
