Pause, too, at the impressive Kazan Cathedral to admire its bronze doors and 262-foot (80-meter) high dome.
Stop at the Anichkov Bridge to view its ornate iron railings and four famous horse sculptures by Peter Klodt von Jurgensburg. Hear the history of these ornate sculptures from your guide, including the tale that surrounds the strange carvings on one of the stallions.
