Our group of 10 was the perfect size. The guide spoke excellent English and was very knowledgeable. She was considerate of everyone's needs and paced the tour so that everyone was able to participate but had enough time to experience the sights. The Hermitage Museum, Catherine Palace, Church of the Spilled Blood, St. Isaac, the cruise, the subway, the city of St. Petersburg all came alive to us by the history and information provided. Did 2 day of St. Petersburg and on first day had 8 guests and did the downtown. On the second day 3 new guests were added who wanted to see downtown. Initially were told that we did those sites yesterday. At end of the second day we were informed that we were going back to see Church of Spilled Blood for the 3 new guests. So 8 guests were inconvenienced for the desires of 3 guests. This is not right, MaxiBaltTours should have done separate arrangements for the new guests.

Dear Rich, Thank you for your feedback. I do understand your concern. Let me clarify the situation: yes, 3 people that went to Moscow on day-1 were added to your group tour on day two. Some sites and photo stops were added to the end of itinerary therefore it got extended and enriched at no extra cost. Small group tour description allows us to re-arrange itineraries as long as our guests get to see what's promised. And all the rest in your group were happy about it. I am really sorry if you felt inconveniences - and yet hope that you still enjoyed your St Petersburg tour because we all did the best as usual!

This was a fantastic 2 day tour with very efficient( Maxibalt lady tour guide who I am very sorry to say I have forgotten her name. She was able to take us to so many sights in those 2 days with some sights being visitor free due to her strategy of knowing when sights would be more visitor friendly without all the crowds. WE had a small group of 13 6 couples and my self.. The tour was more than I could have wished for as the church of spilled blood, metro stations were my high lites. We were in St Petersburg for only 2 days and our tour guide Veronika made sure we saw as much of it as we could. She is an exceptional tour guide, extremely knowledgeable, and a wizard at what she does, somehow getting us into the different palaces, cathedrals, and museums quickly and without ever having to wait in line. She even took us for a ride on the Russian metro, which was weird in and of itself, but impressive and exhilarating at the same time. We can't say enough about her. She made our first trip to Russia one we will remember for a long time.

Excellent two day tour from start to finish. Very well organised. Clear instructions given. Maxi Balt tours rep was excellent and extremely knowledgeable. Mini bus was clean and comfortable with excellent, careful driver. In the two days we saw all of the highlights and more. Veronika as well as being knowledgeable was able to avoid all of the queues. Time keeping was excellent and we were back in plenty of time for our cruise departure. We have nothing bad to say about thus tour.

Our tour guide Maria and driver Vlad picked us up and took us on a great 2 day adventure in St. Petersburg. Besides the usual places we also went on the subway and experienced a local super market. Maria got us into all the attractions and gave us a great narrative of the city.
