We managed to spot a buffalo, rhino, crocodiles and elephants in certain places. It was raining but we still had a lovely time

Evening afloat

Sadly we had no sunset to enrich our time on the river. Saw hippos and birds. Drinks were good and canapés simple. Transportation included from hotel

Where were the cocktails?!

The sunset cruise itself is a must do, the boat is luxurious, the team were lovely. However we paid for the signature deck and waited 40mins for a cocktail and what arrived was not what was ordered. We are on honeymoon and chose the signature deck for the cocktails. It was disappointing.

Really wonderful evening on the Zambezi.

Fantastic boat, the upper deck gives wonderful panoramic views. The crew were all brilliant, helpful, professional and courteous. The food was great, although I think some more snacks and vegetarian options would be ideal (take it it a 6-star). The only niggle I had was that I was asked to move my chair by a member of the crew (they were asked by a passenger) to about 5 feet away from my wife (we were celebrating our wedding anniversary). Seeing as everyone were swiftly on their feet taking pictures, I found this ironic, and so very quickly moved my seat back to be next to my wife. Why should I move and be upset, to please someone else who could simply move elsewhere if 5% of the view was a little obscured. Frankly they should have sat nearer the front! So, perhaps some better seating arrangements might be in order.

Best Boat Cruise ever

This has to be the best Boat Cruise I have been on. transfer , food and cruise experience went smoothly and I felt so welcome and the staff were all kind they tried by all means to make it more than just a crease but an Interesting tour I learned many things I didn’t know about the Zambezi. 10 out of 10.

Smooth peaceful cruise on river with habitat of elephant , hippo and crocodile .. variety of birdlife. Excellent photo opportunities for horizon, sunset. Staff efficient and courteous and friendly. Good choice of snacks and range of alcohol. Large, spacious, comfortable and modern river cruise boat. Transfers punctual. Very good value.

My wife and I did the Signature...

My wife and I did the Signature Lounge option - one which is expensive for us South Africans. We decided on this after reading reviews on Tripadvisor and we are definitely not sorry we did so. We were collected from our hotel and welcomed by friendly assistants with a warm handcloth and some iced tea. On deck we were treated to canepes and drinks included in the price while sitting in the lounge or standing on the deck. The staff were so helpful and the host very witty without being foreward. We saw a variety of animals from the boat giraffe, crocodiles, zebra, hippo and some birds. The cherry on top was the sunset - which allowed us to take as many phtos of the setting sun at various stages. After 2 and a half hours we docked and were transported to our hotel, taking along some wonderful memories of a wonderful trip.
