Nikola Tesla Museum (Muzej Nikole Tesle) Tours and Activities

Devoted to the life and works of Serbian-American engineer and inventor Nikola Tesla, the Nikola Tesla Museum offers insight into the man behind some of the greatest scientific breakthroughs of the 19th and 20th centuries.
The Basics
Guided tours take visitors through the museum’s permanent exhibitions, providing insight into Tesla’s life and legacy. Highlights include a collection of his journals, photographs, and personal items, alongside more than 1,000 plans and drawings of his various inventions. Most exciting are the working models of Tesla’s machines. Visitors can take part in a number of fun electricity experiments and demonstrations and even try operating the induction engines.

The museum is located in the Vračar district in central Belgrade. It's around a 15-minute walk from Nikola Pašić Square, and buses stop at Slavija Square, just two blocks away.
When to Get There
The museum is open Tuesday to Sunday from morning until late evening all year round. Time your arrival for one of the tours, which run every hour beginning at 10am.

- The entrance fee includes a 45-minute guided tour; children under 7 get free admission.
- Museum tours are available in English and Serbian.
- The museum is wheelchair-accessible. Guests who wear a pacemaker will not be able to take part in the demonstration part of the tour.
- There is a gift shop at the museum.
