We will meet in a small town in Vestvågøy, called Leknes. Here we will introduce each other and I will talk about the plan while I show you the route on the map. Then you will follow my car to the spot, where we will leave the cars behind, this will take 15 mins. We will have an easy hike in an area which is free of light pollution and therefore very good for astrophotography. The terrain is flat, most likely there will be some snow and ice on our path. We will pass steep mountains, ocean-coast, sandy beaches and an old road which is out of use. There is a viewpoint and rest area built under some boulders where we will enjoy some traditional warm norwegian drinks. Meanwhile we will be listening to the waves and stargazing. On this trip you will have plenty of opportunities for photograhy including the milkyway and if you are lucky the aurora in beautiful surroundings. We will walk back on the same route to the cars.
