We will begin our tour bordering Lake Llanquihue along the south bank. We will have the opportunity to learn about the German colonization and agriculture that developed in the area. Once in Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park we will visit the world famous Petrohué River Falls, which with its turquoise color delight tourists.
In Ensenada we will have free time for lunch, Then we will reach the origin of this river, Lake Todos los Santos and visit its volcanic beaches. Then we will ascend to the Osorno Volcano Ski Center, where we will have time to enjoy the panoramic view of the Petrohué River valley and Llanquihue Lake. We will also know 2 craters of the Volcano, such as Laguna Verde and La Burbuja.

The village is noted for the German influence on the architecture developed by the immigrants who arrived around 1853. Take a walk to visit some restored colonial houses and see the strong German influence on the architecture. Learn about the history of this picturesque town and the time of the first German settlers.and visit the open-air German museum.

Drive through a thick forest of mostly native Coigües to reach Chile’s oldest National Park. Visit the waterfalls of Petrohué and hike a short trail through native forests. We will get back to the car and drive on heading to the slopes of the Osorno Volcano where we will make a short hike over lava fields and enjoy the impressive view over the Lake Llanquihue.
