Very nice guide but not for real foodies

We were not too impressed with this food tour. The guide was absolutely lovely and tried her best. To answer our questions, she was a whatsapp away from her boss for the answers. But it was not for real foodies. We discovered Diporto, Stani and some other real incredible options on our own and after our tour.

We have been on several food tours in a variety of cities and this was our favorite. We enjoyed the background/history on the food and areas we visited. The food variety was great as was the stroll through the meat and seafood markets! Olive oil tasting was excellent. Irene our guide was excellence and very knowledgeable.... we loved it and highly recommend!

Anna was amazing and knowledgeable. The places we stopped were all inviting and and accommodating. The samples were delicious as well as the information received about the background of ingredients and places they came from. This tour was not only educational but lots of fun!!!!

Anna gave a great tour. We loved visiting the markets and the gourmet shops. We were able to sample and taste. Our guide had great relationships with the vendors and she really cared about the people she interacted with. In the coffee shop we visited (coffee brewed on sand, I was skeptical but I loved it) some tourists needed help and she helped them. Our guide was a kind person with a passion for food and for exploring the city.

By far. this was one of the best tours I've been on. Our tour guide (can't remember her name. But she was amazing.) We tried so many different Greek food, went to a meat and fish market, so many herbs and spices, tried different wines and liqueurs, went through so many different areas and etc.. long story short: If you ever get a chance to visit Athens Greece, this tour is a must.
