Our tour was perfect! We only had a short day to experience the city and the team were fantastic. All the riding was relatively easy and with regular stops we didn’t get tired at all. Thoroughly enjoyed and our guide was the best! Thank you
Thank you for sharing your opinion with us! We are really glad you enjoyed our guided bike tour in Palma! We agree on that it is the best way to get a good overview over the city! =)
We had a great time on this tour. The equipment was well maintained. The tour guide was friendly and very knowledgeable. We were able to cover many areas which would otherwise take too long on foot. The visit to the Convent of Capuchin Nuns was a special treat. Their homemade cookies and ice cream are outstanding. The tapas and wine was also very good. I highly recommend this tour.
Of our almost two weeks traveling the Mediterranean, the bike tour of Palma was our favorite tour! Sanders was very knowledgeable and multi-lingual, switching from English to German to Catalan without missing a beat. He kept a very manageable pace for our group of about 15 cyclists as we made our way from the main drive near the port (a good walk from the cruise ship but not bad, we taxied back after) to the old city. I highly recommend doing the tapas and beer option for the break!
If you want to try something different when visiting Palma Mallorca, this is it. Tour guide was very informative while taking us down narrow streets that a tour bus cannot. Maybe a hill or two that could easily be walked up if having difficulty biking, but despite this it was a great time. If coming in via cruise, they have a bike shop almost directly across from where we docked. We we sent to their shop in town. But they were accommodating in letting us all return the bikes to the one closest to the ship for a short walk back.
This was the highlight of my trip. Our guide,Jaime, was awesome. He was personable, knowledgeable, and very enthusiastic. He asked us a couple times if he could extend the tour because there were more things he wanted to show us. There were only 4 of us on the tour, so it was an intimate tour. Palma is beautiful and without the use of bikes, we would never have seen as much as we did. I was nervous because I am not an avid bike rider and wasn't sure if we would be on main roads. Most of the journey is on small back roads we probably would not have explored on our own. We did the 4:00 tour in February, so we were able to experience Palma both by day and night. The tapas were great also.
Excellent tour that brings you to areas of Palma you probably wouldn't venture to on foot. If I was back there I would do it again.
Tour guide James was very knowledegable and lovely to deal with . Would highly recommend adding on the tapas option at the end as this is delicious.
The only negative was that there was a lot of problems with the bikes which would seem to stem from a lack of maintenance. We had six people in our group and three of the bikes had problems ranging from chains breaking to seats falling off ! At one point James had to leave us and bring one broken bike back to the bike shop to get a replacement which obviously delayed us.
