Normandy American D-Day Beaches Full Day Tour from Bayeux

We did the full day tour from Bayeux with Adeline on 31/8/2020 and we were glad we did. We learnt so much about the D Day landings and Battle of Normandy. We visited both Utah and Omaha beaches, the American cemetery, plus a host of lesser known but historically important sites. Adeline readily answered all our questions and provided interesting snippets to make history of the area come alive. She also made sure we were well looked after and health & safety measures were followed. We definitely felt more enlightened after taking this tour and highly recommend it if you're visiting Bayeux.

Kate was an incredible guide. We had been planning a trip to Normandie for years and once we could finally travel again we knew we want to take a guided tour of the US landed beaches.

Kate is extremely knowledgable and familiar with the historical numeric as well as the little behind-the-scene stories of D-Day. She is also very passionate about the history of the region.

Our tour was amazing! Alex was a perfect, extremely knowledgable and passionate, I learned more with him in a few hours than in all my history classes in school!

We would give Kate 6 stars if we could. She was simply fantastic and made this such a memorable day for us. My wife was concerned about spending all day on this tour but said it was the best tour she has ever been on. Kate's knowledge of, and passion for, history was exceptional. And she was a joy to spend time with - we saw and learned so much!

We toured the DDay battle sites, American cemetery and museum. We would highly recommend our guide, Alex, who was very knowledgeable and helped us understand the events, history and geography of the area.

Wonderful experience throughout the day. Our tour guide was just excellent. Museum at Utah Beach was a ice surprise.

We were on this tour the day France was shutting down museums, restaurants, and other nonessential businesses because of Covid 19. While we were not able to go into any of the museums and the American Cemetary was closed, our guide, Alex, did a phenomenal job of taking us to other sites. He was extremely knowledgeable and very personable. World War II history is of special interest to him so his presentation of information was thorough, engaging, and filled with interesting anecdotes. My husband and I were so impressed with Alex's knowledge and enthusiasm for the subject. Highly recommend this tour!

Our March 8 Normandy Beaches tour was the best! Our Gold Beach Company guide was a true historian with the gift of weaving human stories, wartime logistics and historical context into a picture of what D-Day was like. He taught, inspired, and made it so real. His energy and passion for his subject never flagged. It was a memorable, full day, ending with taps at the American Cemetery. We couldn’t imagine a better tour. Just phenomenal.

Kate was the perfect guide on this tour! She was knowledgeable and intuitive, understanding and helpful, passionate about history and compassionate toward her guests. She even looked up information about my dad's LST so that we could be on Omaha Beach where his ship was. I'm grateful we were lucky enough to be in Kate's care. Thank you for a memorable day!
