The cruise itself was very nice, steady ride, live music, the food was really nice, however cold. Also I noticed they ran out of both main dinner and desserts off the buffet. The staff were incredibly rude. Once they had your money off you they had no interest in customer service. Extremely rude with disgusting attitudes. It was effort for them to get you your drinks, had to ask 8 times and 5 different waiters for a spoon for my soup, when I finally got it, it was cold. Staff kept mining things under their breath, generally were the most unhelpful, rude, obnoxious and arrogant people.

The evening was very enjoyable. Plenty of food available and an attractive dining area. Taxi was waiting for us to take us back to our hotel. However, the pickup time was between 6:10 and 6:15. That day I received a text stating pickup time was now 6:00. Taxi arrived at 5:45. We arrived at 6:00 and had to wait ONE HOUR on a cold boat until the cruise boat arrived. Not happy.

Took an evening cruise around Budapest on the Danube. Crystal clear evening and we were able to see all the amazing buildings and bridges. We did not take the dinner, just the cruise, but were treated to two drinks and a band which played during the two hour ride. Well worth the reasonable price for the trip. Round trip transfers included in the price

I was glad I read the reviews and that I decided to treat my girlfriends to this on our last night there. The pick up and drop off service was a real bonus. There was an abundance of staff on the cruise so it wasn’t disorganized like what other reviews said. We really didn’t focus on our food but on taking photos of the magnificent buildings! I know others said to opt out of the dinner part but I felt it added to the ambiance and we enjoyed it!

Definetly one of the best , they picked us up in a taxi at our hotel and dropped us off. It was very nice. Get the dinner cruise it was wonderful they had a buffet, we only got the drinks , thinking that the dinner would not be nice. but it was great. they had musicians, really very nice. Loved It.

We had a very nice time on our River Cruise and loved that we were picked up at the door of our Airbnb. They picked us up right on time and dropped us right at the spot to catch the boat. We didn't have the dinner just drinks and it was very nice sitting on deck admiring the beautiful view of Budapest at night. Great experience that we recommend to anyone. ~a

I am shocked by the number of 5-star reviews. This was, by far, the worst booked excursion of our entire 18-day vacation in Central Europe. Where to start?
1. The pick-up from our apartment was very late, and only after an emergency call to the tour operator did we discover that we were being picked up by a taxi. It would have been very easy to miss if we had not taken the initiative to call and find out why things were so late.
2. The meal was, hands down, the worst we had in our entire trip. It was a buffet style, and by the time we were finally allowed to go up, the serving dishes were basically empty, stone cold, and we were left with almost literally scraping the bottom of the barrel.
3. The cruise itself was a little too short. By the time dinner was over, there was very little time to stroll on the deck and get nice photos.
4. The return taxi to our apartment... we were asked to wait so another couple could share the taxi with us. After 20 minutes of standing on the dock, we finally were taken back to our place... very disorganized.

If I had to do it over again, I'd have dinner elsewhere and take the boat for the two-hour cruise and settle for drinks on the deck. I would not recommend this diner cruise at all.

So, first off--on this tour, I had the best Chicken Paprika of all --and I ordered it on all three days that I was in Budapest. The boat ride was lovely however, it was the first thing we did in the city and there was no commentary so we had no idea what we were looking at while the boat went by all the beautiful sites on both sides of the river. It was really just a floating restaurant. Personally, I would recommend taking a boat tour with commentary and going to a better rated restaurant. The ride was lovely but again, I think a ride with tour information was really what we wanted.

Dinner is very good. You are able to take the best photos out of this cruise while entering Budapest. It is a nice tour for a change.
