Tour departs from most Cancun and Playa del Carmen hotels. Pick-ups are between 07:00 AM and 09:40 AM. No service pick-up for hotels at downtown: • For passengers staying at hotels located in the downtown of Cancun, the meeting point will be at the Bonampak Hotel. • For passengers staying at hotels located in the downtown of Playa del Carmen or in its surroundings, the meeting point will be at The Reef Coco Beach, The Reef Playacar or The Reef 28. • For Cozumel customers the meeting point in Playa del Carmen: Please note you must take the ferry transportation at 7:00 am, you will be picked up at 8:20 hrs at the Señor Frogs store. • Meeting point for Tulum: Super Aki - Tulum.

What To Expect

Following morning pickup at your Cancun hotel, travel to Tulum, one of the best-preserved coastal Mayan ruins.

Perched on a cliff overlooking the Caribbean Sea, the site boats significant archaeological ruins that tell the tale of how the city was an important port for the Mayan empire during the 13th-15th centuries. Tour the site with a guide and then enjoy free time to explore on your own.

Then travel to Tankah Park, where you'll enjoy water and fruit before setting out to explore the grounds. Follow your tour guide on a jungle trek along a dirt road to Cenote Piraña and Cenote Cueva, where you can zipline or jump into the rejuvenating waters.

Cross the largest cenote in the Mayan Riviera by ziplining at a height of 690 feet (210 meters) through the jungle. Cool off with a dip in the open-air cenote, then board a kayak to paddle across this unique body of water.

Dig in to a regional buffet lunch that includes tropical fruit and handmade tortillas. After lunch, visit a contemporary Mayan village in the rain forest nearby. Learn about their way of life and their cultural traditions from your guide.

End your full-day adventure with drop-off at your hotel.

Jazmin was a great tour guide with Ireal as the driver. They really brought the group together, was very informative, great amazing food and really just made the trip fun and enjoyable. I really recommend this tour, don't forget to ask for Jazmin and plan on having fun in the beauty that God created.

This was such a great day! The bus arrived 15 minutes early at our Cancun resort. We were the first pickup and we proceeded to pick up several other parties along the way. We also picked up our tour guide. Her name was Hilda Berriel and she was outstanding! She was easy to understand and said everything in both Spanish and English. She was knowledgeable, she smiled a lot, she paced everything perfectly and she participated in every activity with us. The bus ride to Tulum did take a while but the bus was comfortable and we enjoyed the drive. Lots of billboards to look at! We stopped at a convenience store for drinks/snacks/bathroom. The ruins in Tulum were interesting. Even on May 1st it was pretty hot so wear your coolest clothing and use plenty of sunscreen. After seeing the ruins, you'll have time to visit a big gift store where they also were selling one dollar Coronas. There is also a Starbucks in the area, where we saw an amazing rain dance performance. The best part of this excursion is Tankah Park. I am not a swimmer but my wife went in all four cenotes and loved them. They are all different. Then we went ziplining, which we had never done before. It seemed very safe and there were plenty of attendants to get the harnesses on everyone correctly, send you on your way and spot your landings. Don't be afraid to try it. We all ziplined three times. Then we had yet more fun canoeing. Lastly, we had a delicious Mayan meal. The return bus trip was enjoyable except that we all hated saying goodbye to Hilda, our great tour guide. The bus driver was excellent!

What a great day!! Even my young teenagers thought it was amazing! i loved learning more about the Mayan civilization at Tulum--surprisingly accurate astronomy. Tankah park was wonderful! The cenotes there were perfect for swimming we zip-lined just enough to be thrilling but not scary - Im 55 y/o a little canoeing it would be ok if youve never canoed before delicious food prepared by local people..... also, not crowded- we were the only ones currently there. You may want to take some cash into the park for buying bracelets from the local people at the end rest assured it is NOT a typical vendor attack on tourists--- just a very quiet little girl on the side of the road/walkway. Our guide, Carlos, was very knowledgeable, personable,and did all the activities with us! Absolutely recommend this tour :

Tulum was lovely and we were given an informative guided tour as well as plenty of time on our own to explore. The Tankah eco-tour was nice, the cenotes were fun, a variety of different activities to do. Also enjoyed the zip lines and quick kayak trip. Our guide Rosendo was funny and informative, and he was well versed on both Tulum and Tankah. Our driver Andres did a great job on some challenging roads, it was a long ride from our hotel, but we were comfortable the entire way. Only 8 people on our tour, so plenty of time to see everything. The food in the Mayan village was good, the homemade tortillas were amazing. My only criticism is that the lunch meal wasn't served until almost 3 pm, after we had finished all other activities, so we were starving by then. Make sure you bring a towel if you plan to swim, and don't forget the sunscreen! Tulum has very little shade. Tankah also had quite a bit of walking, which I was fine with, but may not be suitable for everyone.

The ruins history was interesting and the guide knowledgeable and personable. The real pleasure of the afternoon was the visit to Tankah. It was exciting to jump off of the rock platform and the zipline into the water. The long ziplines were fun and even my more timid ten year old managed to do without being scared. It felt remote and less touristy. The food served at the end was delicious and plentiful in a cool and relaxing setting. Highly recommend this tour. Guide was Duelo.

We were a small group of 5 people with the arrival at Tulum late morning when it was very hot and humid. Our tour guide Delio said he has been doing these tours for 21 years and I don't see how he has survived. He had little knowledge to give, pretended he didn't understand English when he was asked a question he did not know and we could have done better on our own without paying this ridiculous charge. The tour itself was not explained well in the description so let me write it down: Leave late so the tour will be hot and humid - even at the end of October Arrive at Tulum, get little information about the place and are abruptly left to walk around on our own even though we only covered about 50 of the site with the guide. Leave Tulum to arrive at a cenote. Given fresh fruit. At the cenote, the choice is to swim or sit and watch other people swim for 30-40 minutes. Walk to ziplines and not warned about a poisonous tree which we are not supposed to touch. Luckily a fellow traveler pointed it out to us. At the zipline, people again only have 2 choices - do the zipline or stand around for an hour watching others. The tour description made it seem that people had the option of doing the zipline or canoeing - not true. The canoes were only to bring people who did the zipline back. Went to eat at an outdoor Mayan eating place. Then went to another cenote where the choices were swim or sit around. Then returned to the hotel. So here we are expecting an educational tour of Tulum and get a garbage quality tour guide. Then expect to be able to use the canoes a favorite activity for us around the cenote but that wasn't part of the plan.

Tour group was small, guide was very good and knowledgeable, not rushed could take time to see and do everything. Only complaint is website needs updates they stop jeep tours on april 1st and have 4 swimming areas but did not know to bring a bathing suit so only did zipline and canoeing but still loved the tour as a whole.

It was really hot to go to Tulum in the afternoon so I would suggest going in the morning but WOW our tour guide was great and Tankah Park was incredible! Our guide, Delio took us to the Tankah park where we experienced the real jungle with the Jeep. Then we walked to the beautiful cenote for the zip lining, kayaking and swimming. The Mayan lunch at the village was amazing.Tulum was very hot, but guide took care of us with umbrella and water.

We had great tour guide named Delio ! very informative and kids learned alot about mayan life at Tulum. When we arrived at Tankah, we went for ziplined over the water and canoed back and then we went swam in this beautiful water hole, had lunch and went for Jeep tour ( please don't go on the jeep ride if you have a bad back... its very rough and bumpy and will strain your back... my back was not happy after the ride) overall my 12 and 14 years old boy loved it and they said this excursion was best in 4 days in cancun. Thank you Delio~!!!!!

This tour was just amazing, we were very well taken care of buy the tour people, the ruins were just out of this world! The Cenote was a bit cold but it was lovely, and very good food served in a rustic setting by the Mayan's! Our guides were outstanding and fun, they took very good care of us and explained everything just perfectly when we went zip lining! I would recommend anyone who likes zip lines and 4x4 and Ruins to deffinately take this tour! We had a small bit of trouble contacting this tour people by phone once in Mexico but the resort figured out the number thank fully and we made it ok! The only negative was that they were half an hour late picking us up because the have no radio's in their vans to contact each other and we even stopped at the side of the road once and our driver got out and ran across the highway to speak to another tour van driver?? That seemed insane, so I do think we all pay enough that you could afford radio's in the van...all the other tours had them! We did leave tips for the 4x4 people and the zip line people and your tour guide too! So get radio's!

Tulum Ruins tour was informative. It's a little hard to get a good shot of the ruins, even the surroundings because tourists were everywhere (duh!). Tankah Park Tour was great. Started off with the Jeep jungle trek. It was a fun experience but didn't really see any wild animals...aside from insects and some birds. The two ziplines, canoeing, and cenote swim were fun and lunch was yummy. Overall, worth it and awesome.

This was a great trip with a great guide. I took one star off because when we arrived at Tulum we spent a lot of time in the souvenir shop first where the guide was giving a sales show. After giving us a tour of the ruins we only had a very short time to walk around Tulum by ourselves and take pictures. Therefore I felt really rushed and couldn't fully enjoy it. I wish we wouldn't have wasted all this time in the souvenir shop and rather could have spent more time at the actual ruins. The Tankah Park Eco Adventure was great and a lot of fun. The activities are great and exciting. Since the park is run by Mayas it was also very informative to talk to the Mayan people and see their lifestyle nowadays.
