Start your day with morning pickup at your accommodation in Key West and relax in your 15-passenger air-conditioned van on the scenic drive to Marathon.

Travel halfway up the Keys and pass over more than 20 bridges on the Overseas Highway. See the original Seven Mile bridge, listed on the National Register of Historic Places and once ranked as the longest bridge in the world. Your driver-guide shares stories about the region along the way.

Upon arrival at the Turtle Hospital, take a 90-minute walking tour of the working hospital and rehabilitation area. View the recovering and resident turtles, and learn about their habits and the life-saving procedures performed by the hospital.

Stop for lunch at Bahia Honda State Park with options such as sandwiches, burgers, or pizza. Bottled water, canned sodas, and snacks are provided en route. Have time to soak in views of the Florida Keys and gorgeous beaches as you walk out on the Old Bahia Honda Bridge.

At the National Key Deer Refuge, if you're lucky you might see an alligator, turtle, or elusive bird species at the Blue Hole. Keep an eye out for the endangered Key Deer, a miniature deer only found on Big Pine Key. You'll also stop at the Bat Tower, built in 1929 for mosquito control and listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Your tour ends with return to your hotel in Key West around 4pm.
