After hotel pickup in Bayahibe and La Romana, head by air-conditioned bus to the neighboring area of Cumayasa, admiring the countryside of the Dominican Republic during the drive.
When you arrive at the zipline site, located at the Rancho Cumayasa nature park, listen to a safety briefing from your experienced guides (there are two guides for each group of eight people). Then put on your provided helmet, gloves and harness, and hike about 320 feet (100 meters) to the first platform.
When you’re ready, jump off the platform, flying like Tarzan across the double cable to the opposite platform. Then enjoy six more rides, ziplining across a total of 1 mile (1.5 km) in all. During the experience, look around at the dense forest of treetops and enjoy views of the Cumayasa River, lined with mangroves.
At the end of the zipline tour, refuel with provided water and fresh fruit, or enjoy a beer or rum cocktail, also provided. Your experience ends with hotel drop-off.
