Why Travelers Choose This Tour

This express trip, which travels by high-speed train, lets you tick off both Paris and Versailles in just one day.
This packed, full-day tour allows you to experience some of France’s most iconic attractions in a single day. Make your way to London’s St Pancras International train station in the early morning, where a representative will meet you and help you board a high-speed Eurostar train bound for Paris. After the 2.5-hour journey, a local guide will meet you at the Gare du Nord station in Paris.

Board a comfortable coach for a guided tour of Parisian landmarks, including the high-end shops and cafés of the Champs-Elysées, the Arc de Triomphe, the iconic Opera Garnier, and the regal gardens and monuments of the Trocadero.

After your city tour, climb to the second-floor observation deck of the Eiffel Tower for unmatched views of Paris. For lunch, you can enjoy a gourmet meal complete with a panoramic backdrop at the tower’s on-site restaurant, or opt for a more casual bite from a street vendor or café (own expense).

Next, pass through the outlying villages of Paris on the 1-hour drive to Versailles. Take an audio tour of the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Palace of Versailles, which dazzles with excess at every turn. Walk down the shimmering Hall of Mirrors and learn about famous former residents with a glimpse of Marie Antoinette’s bedroom and other opulent royal apartments. Step outside the palace for a stroll among the immense, Baroque-style Versailles Gardens, where you can wander down geometric hedge-lined paths and admire ornate fountains and flowerbeds.

After the Versailles tour, your guide will deliver you back to the Gare de Nord station in Paris and assist you with boarding the return high-speed train to London.

Very Disorganized

I've never seen a more disorganized and unprofessional tour and I've been on quite a few organized group tours. The tour reps were late at every turn (5 times through the day). Yes, we made it to Paris, saw the Eiffel Tower and Versailles, and made it back to London, but I had serious doubts. One rep said it was because the various parts of the tour are subcontracted out, but if that's the case they should either stop offering the tour or hire better subcontractors.

Not a good trip!!

My family and I went on this tour. It started off ok. But once we got on the tour bus in Paris it went down hill. We were very rushed!! We went to the Eiffel Tower first. We were told before we got off the bus you have 45 minutes to get back on the bus!! Well the time we went through security checks plus we had to wait for the elevator to go up. Of course there were a nice amount of people there. Once we got to the top we had only 10 to 15 minutes to be up there before we had to go back down in the elevator and we had to find our guide. We did not go on the same bus we were told to get in a van for another person to take us to Versailles. We were the only ones going there. There was no time to shop or eat anything!!! Was very upset about that!! We were rust in the van with some guy. The tour guide said I will see ya'll later when you get back from Versailles. We did finally get to Versailles by van with another person { 1 hour later!} Once we got there we were told about 2 hours here. Could not believe it. You had to wait in line to get in. We had to rush throughout every thing!!! We tried to take pictures with our family. And mind you we had a 76 year old trying to get around! And trying to rush her because we were limited on time. Did get to go to the garden behind Versailles for a total of 10 minutes!!They had a little gift shop there that we had only 12 minutes to shop. We had to rush back at the meeting point to catch the van back to get back to the bus that has our tour guide on it. After 30 minutes on the road the tour guide said to the van driver where are you? He said we are on the way and she said you will have to take your passengers to the train station yourself because there is no time to meet up with me!! So the guy in the van had to do that. there was a lot of traffic!! We when we finally got to the train station it was 7 minutes before the train was going to leave and go into London!! We tried to find out where to go to get on our train. The van driver was no help at all. And was kind of rude. We called the tour guide very upset and said were do we go to find our train. { the tour guide never meet up with us to help us, we were on our on} We tried and talk to her on the phone but could not understand her very well. We ask some one in the train station were to go once, we found out, we were running { not kidding} to get there. And remember were had a older person with us!! Don't take this tour. We had 2 minutes to get on the train!!

This was a fast paced tour. We were based in London, and only wanted to go to Paris for the day. The high speed train from London to Paris, was really nice, had reserved seating, and does not take too long. The tour bus drives you down the Avenue des Champs-Elysees, and around the Arc de Triomphe, then you make your way to the Eiffel Tower and get to go up it. Some people have the option of eating lunch in the Eiffel Tower restaurant. We did not choose to do this, but should have, as the cost to eat there is very expensive. The trip was worth the cost to get to go to the Palace of Versailles, which is overwhelmingly beautiful. I got to mark two things off my bucket list, eating in a cafe at the bottom of the Eiffel Tower, and going to Versailles!

Tour was supposed to start at 5:45 and we were told to be there 30 minutes early. So we got there before 5:15 a.m. Rep didn't show until 6 a.m. and train to Paris wasn't scheduled to leave until 7. All other aspect of the tour were great... just be honest about when we need to be there!

Already reviewed this tour. Try reading the first review. Not good. Poor tour guide, very disorganized and poorly planned. Told to be at London meeting place two hours before Viator Rep bothered to show up. Mostly travel time with very little attractions time. Try a different tour company.

Great trip but Paris and Versailles was a little too much to do in one day. We barely had time to grab a sandwich and take a few pictures at the Eiffel Tower

The tour was well organized and everything went as planned. I enjoyed everything I saw. Tour guides were quite knowledgeable and friendly. I wish I could spend more time in Paris. Several hours isn't enough to take in the Palace of Versailles or Louvre. One would need at least a day. It gives me reason to go back again.

My family really enjoyed the tour of Paris and Versailles. Our Versailles tour guide was very informative and knowledgable. I would have loved to have been able to get On and off the bus more, but now that I have been introduced to Paris could do that on another trip.

The trip was great, our guides were super nice, and there was plenty of time to see everything we wanted to in Versailles. I would definitely recommend this trip!
