Wear comfy shoes as the walk to the castle is long and steep.
It is recommended to take shuttles to and from the castle rather than walk to have enough time to observe the surroundings and especially Mary's bridge.
Do NOT be scared when you see the accompanying picture of the big tour bus and it saying it is a small group tour.

A wonderful trip from beginning to end! Annette was an excellent guide providing us with interesting information but not talking the entire trip - very appreciated! Precise and easy instructions were given for departures times as we had timed entry tickets and 3 stops. Great day!!!

Wonderful Day Trip

Ursula was an excellent guide for this tour. We learned so much from her as we traveled to each destination. The stories she told were so interesting and fun. The bus was very nice and clean and they provided good snacks for the journey. Our driver was very professional and we felt we were in good hands on the road.

The castle is of course breathtaking. We opted for the premium version of the tour. The ride was very comfortable and the driver and guide were very nice. There was ample time allotted for each stop. We really enjoyed the tour.

Such a relaxing tour out to the castles! Our driver and tour guide were amazing!! The castles were beautiful and our guides gave us SO much more info and really made it fun

I booked this last minute but I’m so glad I did. It was a LONG day, but the premium experience was super comfortable. The bus was nice and spacious and we were offered water, tea, coffee and sweets during our trip. The driver and guide were so nice and accommodating. I had such a great experience and learned so much. Would absolutely recommend!

What an absolutely perfect "last day" on our vacation! Monica, our tour guide, was so knowledgeable and helpful and brought the area to life for us with loads of history and cultural background information. Well worth it to take the Premium Tour, as no standing in lines for tickets, smaller group, beautiful coach with WiFi, snacks and coffee on the way, and then beer/wine on the way back after you've just climbed that mountain! Great job all the way around!

Our guide Carolina was very knowledgeable on the attractions we visited. There was too much spare time waiting to tour Neuschwanstein castle. Lots of walking, even if you catch the bus up the hill to see the Marien bridge - recommended.

Well organized tour, felt premium with small group size, a very comfortable bus, constant attention to the comfort of participants, the offering of a beer at the end of a long day was so welcomed! Monica,our guide was excellent as was our driver. I would highly recommend this tour- its expensive but worth the extra cost.

Great trip, minus whiny kids on board

Did the premium trip which was a much better option given the smaller group size and more comfortable transportation. Our guide Ursula was excellent. Only negative was the small children on our tour who were constantly screaming, crying, and whining. Consider offering an adults only trip and or do not recommend this trip to families with small children as it is around 10.5 hours total

The tour is well organised, Ursula told us what we need to know without overloading us with information. Plenty of time at Lindorf and Neauschwanstein castle. Bus is clean and the smaller group is great. Snacks and drinks on board. The toilet is not working but not big issue. The photo opps is from the bus, wish we could stop quickly at the village instead of just try to take pictures from the bus specially if you sit in the opposite side. Otherwise is a good day out.
