This tour was great! It included a wonderful lunch fresh pasta and sauasage with dessert and all of the tour guides were extremely friendly. Would highly recommend this tour. The one drawback was that they didnt allow time for you to shop at either stop.

The biggest thing I'd change is include all of the entrance fees in the cost. If you don't include the fees, please ensure the tour guide will accept a credit card for the entrance fees. I'd also shorten the lunch so more time can be spent at Vesuvius.

The tour was good. The only thing they should do differently is to spend less time at lunch to leave more time to explore Mt Vesuvius.

The meeting point for this tour was a little difficult to find and a simple sign for Viator Tours would make things easier. Once found though the coach was on time and the guides very good. It would have been better if the tickets for Pompeii and Vesuvius had been included in the cost of the trip to avoid the collection of money once onboard the coach. The pizza lunch was a little basic and the lunch break could have been cut significantly to allow more time at the two sites. With the temperatures reaching 35 degrees it would have been a nice touch if small bottles of water could have been supplied by the tour company for both the coach trip and site visits.

Excellent tour. Fantastic guide. My only complaint was that lunch took over two hours as the guides were working out logistics of various guests on different tours. Next time I'd choose to just visit Pompeii. There is plenty to see there to fill a whole day.

Unlike our excellent 5-star tour in Rome, this tour left much to be desired. The meeting point was a little vague and we along with 3 other couples weren't sure we were even at the correct spot blue benches which is not the way you want to start the day. The Napoli City Vision bus did arrive on time and a representative found our group, so that part wasn't too bad. We boarded a crowded bus of probably 60 people more than I expected and proceeded to a cameo shop for a short demonstration and toilet break followed by the handing out of radios to ONLY those who spoke Italian. Our group of 20 who spoke English, were not given radios and had to stay very close to our guide or miss out on the tour information. This was a little annoying as it's not always easy with a group of 20 to stay close enough to hear a person in a crowded area. On the positive side, Stephania was very friendly and knowledgeable. We spent about 2 hours in Pompeii and were only able to tour two sections of the city, and wasted 45 minutes at one point waiting to walk through the brothel area. This was a huge waste of time and I would recommend skipping this if there is a long line and if you can. After Pompeii, we walked to the Pizzaria for lunch and were told that we would not be served until ALL of the group arrived. This took another 30 minutes. In all, it took 2 hours to eat some very poor tasting pizza and ice cream and drinks weren't even included you could purchase a small can of soda for 3 euros. After the overly lengthy lunch, we then waited another 15 minutes or more for our bus to take us to Mt. Vesuvius and by the time we arrived, it was about 15:15 and the all-aboard time for our ship was 17:30 and we still had a nearly one hour bus ride back to port giving us only an hour for the hike up and time to take pictures. I suspect they realized that the entire group would not be back in time and when we arrived back at the drop off location at 16:15, they had arranged for a small bus to take us back to port which was much appreciated.
