Meet your guide at a pre-arranged spot near the cruise port or the metro station in central Naples. You'll get fitted with a bicycle and helmet (please advise tour operator of height and weight when reserving) and set off down the Naples promenade toward the city center, the Castel dell’ Ovo. After checking out the village of Bordo Marinari, you'll head west on Via Caracciolo, then pedal through the neighborhoods of Chiaia and Mergellina.
Get your legs pumping for the climb up Posillipo Hill, home to villas with sea vistas. As you cycle, you'll pass gullies, caves, and see fishing boats sailing on the sea beyond. The top of the hill is occupied by the green Virgilian Park, which allows views of Vesuvius and the outlying islands of Procida, Ischia, and Capri.
