Took four grandkids on The Beast last weekend. We all loved the experience. Went from West 42nd Street to tip of Manhattan and then to Statue of Liberty in a matter of minutes, virtually flying through the water. A couple of spins then got everyone wet. Finally, we raced back to where we started. Awesome ride!
We had a great time even though it was cold and drizzly. Unfortunately, because of the weather, our granddaughters were not exposed to super-soaker!!! Also, because of the weather, there were no long lines. I have taken other grandchildren and had beautiful weather, but lines to get on, so there is something to be said about drizzle.
Loved it! It was a fun and exciting way to see the sights. Definitely recommend. Great experience.
I would say, on viator the tip is to go there with your booking form a few days before the tour so you can book a time slot. Dont bother doing that as you can not pre arrange the time, you are just told to come back on the day. So we wasted time in doing that.
We enjoyed riding the Beast for the first time. It was fun for everyone in our group of six including two children. I would recommend this ride for all except those that may have heart problems. I would come back again if I visit NYC.
