Private tour of the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island
Meet your guide at Castle Clinton, a historic fort in Manhattan’s Battery Park. You’ll get skip-the-line, priority boarding on the ferry to the Statue of Liberty—this is a great time to get your bearings in the city as your guide points out landmarks in Battery Park, the New York harbor and waterfront.
Upon reaching the island, make your way to the reservation-only Statue of Liberty pedestal and the Statue of Liberty Museum. See one of the original statue torches displayed alongside rare memorabilia and the poem ‘The New Colossus’ that was once at the base of the statue. Get perfect views of the New York City skyline from the observation deck and snap an unforgettable photo with Lady Liberty.
Continue to Ellis Island to explore New York’s immigrant legacy: follow an immigrant’s trail through the Great Hall and see moving photos and artifacts in the onsite museum. Enjoy a personal take on Ellis Island from your guide, whose family passed through Ellis Island, then learn how you can trace your family history there. Finish your day with independent time on Ellis Island or return to Battery Park with your guide.

Great trip and experience, made all the better thanks to a well informed and brilliant guide (Jordan)
The private tour delivered an exceptional experience. Learned all kinds of information from Patrick - he was so well prepared. Our group included an 18 year old and a 72 year old and one inbetween and we were all delighted by the experience. I highly recommend the private group if you want to learn a lot!!
Excellent tour Guide. RJ was extremely knowledgeable about the the statue and Ellis island. Not only was he well versed, it was a pleasure to talk to him about the history of many NY landmarks. I highly recommend this tour.
It was my wife's 1st time visiting the Statue of Liberty and my 3rd. Hannah was our tour guide. I learned more about the history of the Statue of Liberty and Clinton Castle than all my previous visits combined. When we met Hannah to start the tour. She went over specifics of our tour. She told us where and when would be a good time and place to eat. She also let us know that we would get some time to explore by ourselves. We both enjoyed having her as a guide and will request her for other tours in the future.
Liz was very informative. She brought the historical facts to life. She would make a great history teacher. We got through the lines quickly thanks to her knowledge and expertise. We had a very good day.
Hannah was our guide and she did a great job. She was on-time, friendly and very knowledgeable. Since we were an elderly couple she allowed us to go at our own pace and gave a helping hand on the boat ramps, when we needed one.
Our private tour of the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island was great due to our guide, Jordan. He tailored to our needs and interests and didn’t miss a thing with giving us the history on both! We asked lots of questions and he knew them all. When questioning the height of a building he even googled to assure me that his facts were straight! Ha. We laughed and had a great time. Very professional and pleasant to spend the day with. I much so we plan to come to NYC again and do one of the foodie tours he does😀. I would highly recommend this group and Jordan as your guide!!
