The crew was very courteous and the boat was very clean and well maintained. The lady giving the tour narration (I forgot her name!) was funny and knowledgeable. She followed up the tour by visiting as many guests as possible to ensure she could address any additional questions. Ottawa is a beautiful city with amazing architecture and this tour is a great way to get an overview of the city from the Ottawa River.

There is no way for the crew to know who gets in the preferred line once their tickets are checked and people who didn’t pay extra go in preferred line.
Hull, Quebec is loaded before Ontario so they get the best seats upstairs plus they are dropped off 1st and that takes time off your cruise. Not impressed but the crew are great.

II had booked the Rideau Canal cruise, but the night before we left home, I received an email that it was cancelled...no reason. I was very disappointed, so decided to take the Paula D cruise once we were in Ottawa. It was advertised as 1 1/2 hours long. It was half and hour late, and then later spent about 10 minutes dropping people off & picking people up at Hull, so I guess if you added that all together it would maybe have been 1 1/2 hours. It was a sunny calm day, so it the ride itself was nice.

I was visiting Ottawa for the weekend and enjoyed the tour. It was a bit cold but the tour guide was great.
I would recommend the safety instructions the guide gave should be done before the boat sail. As the boat sail nothing would be missed in explaining what is seen during the first ten minutes that are now spent explaining the safety tips which do not have to be done while the boat is moving. Other than that all is well

Very nice and informative tour. Pascal did an amazing job switching between English and French. The boat was a little shabby and the “snack bar/bar” could have used a bit a stronger presence (more edible options/tidier appearance) but overall I had an enjoyable trip.

The trip itself was good but there was confusion getting there. The spot on the map is not the spot where the boat is, and there’s very limited signage. The address for where we had to go was buried in a lot of advertisements and notices, and we couldn’t even find it until we actually saw the ticket itself. We had to guess where to find the boat. Even when we got there, it was more or less deserted with no one there to see what was going on. But was 10 minutes late so it left us wondering if we were at the wrong place after all.
