Thanks to a great tour guide (Cathy) who took the extra time to show us the wonderful sights on our tour. Stopping off at different locations for photos on the way and providing a chatty commentary all the way giving us an insight into the history of the area. Driving the road to Cardrona could be a bit scary but Cathy drove safely and I was very comfortable. Plenty of time to take in the sights and have meal breaks at our stops. Thanks guys - great trip!!!
Queenstown is breathtaking and anyone traveling to NZ should never miss it! It’s one of my most favorite places and would surely comeback if I have a chance. Kathy, our tour guide was excellent... she knows a lot about the places and had a lot of ahhhhaaaaa moments with her. She takes amazing pics as well.. she’s also a real estate person so you’ll get a glimpse of the housing there which I found interesting. she even found time to return my scarf and gloves when I forgot it in the van. We were well taken cared of and highly recommends her to any visiting folks! Thank you Kathy! Such a joy to be in your company!
Relaxing and very enjoyable half day tour, with a good tour guide and was made a lot better because the weather was fantastic, Lake Wanaka is very impressive and Arrowtown very quaint old town, with ample time to explore before the return trip back to Queenstown.A cold beer in the gardens of the Cardronna Hotel NZs oldest hotel in 28 degrees was welcolmed, a week later they had 30cm of snowfreak snow storm
I always go for small group tours and never regret it. On this particular tour, there were only 4 of us. Wayne was our an excellent driver/guide who let us in on the latest scoop and interesting historical facts of places and people in our journey to Wanaka. Wayne knew where the best lookout points were for stunning photos. He's very considerate, patient and kind. Despite the winding roads and my motion sickness, I hardly felt any discomfort. Wayne made our trip very interesting with loads of information. This tour with its itinerary is highly recommended! If I ever go to Queenstown again, I'll look up Remarkable Tours.
Wanaka and the lake and the stop overs are really worth the trip. I'm glad I decided on booking this tour. My mum was also very happy.
I actually ended up on the Full Day tour that is a loop. No one had signed up for the halfday, so it was either cancel or do the whole day. Turned out to be a great decision to take the full day tour. Wayne was fabulous, provided lots of information, plenty of jokes and kept us going the whole day. I enjoyed seeing the sites in the Queenstown region and nearby towns.
