Combo Tour: Volcanoes, Lake and Mayan Sites including Joya de Ceren

We loved this. This was our first time to ES and we had Eduardo as our guide for our city tour from the day before and for this tour also. I think we saw and learned so much that I came back an expert to tell others about the country.

Our tour guide was amazing! So knowledgeable about the area. He went Above and beyond in so many ways. Making sure we were comfortable, giving us time to explore on our own, and even showed us some areas not on the tour! He was great at letting us know what the itinerary was and if we wanted to spend less/extra time on certain parks. I will absolutely use this tour service again! Would def recommend a personal tour guide to anyone visiting!

Great tour - We saw 2 Mayan sites, a large volcano overlooking a caldera and had a walk through the jungle. Amazing views and lunch was great (dishes like salmon, prawns, chicken with fresh coffee from the area).

Great tour! Our guide, Benjamin, was very thorough and knowledgeable. I walked away with a PhD in Mayan history. The trip was smooth sailing. I will book again with this company on my next trip to El Salvador!

Eduardo was an excellent guide. He provided many historical stories & inside information. He made multiple stops for photos. His insights helped us appreciate the beauty of the lake, volcanoes & ruins that we saw even more. Our family includes 2 boys ages 10 & 16. The tour kept us all involved & engaged.

Benjamin was an awesome guide! As I was the only tourist at this time he asked me what I was most interested in and tailored the tour slightly to suit my interests. Benjamin was punctual, friendly, authentic and spoke great English.

I had a great time on this tour. I expected a little bit more actually because I thought we would go on a longer hike and get a little bit closer to the lake. You do get a great view on the hike. Everyone is super friendly and my tour guide was great! he was very knowledgeable and told me everything I needed to know about politics of the country even to the areas and parts around El Salvador. He was a great guide. Unfortunately the Ministerio de Cultura had closed down the ruins so I didn't get a chance to see them. My tour guide made up for it and gave me a tour around the city which was great and definitely not his fault I decided to go during Semana Santa, but just beware if you do go during holidays, they might be closed. If you want a Lake tour though you should book one with a boat rde included because we just had a scenic view. Great tour but recommended for the quick traveler.

I was travelling alone. The guide was super nice. Super knowledgeable and dedicated. The Joya de Ceren site was amazing and the Lake really great. I fully recommend.

Our guide was outstanding, and we really felt like we got an excellent introduction to El Salvador through this tour. It has a wonderful mix of cultural and natural experiences embedded within it. Joya de Ceren and Lake Coatepeque were big highlights, but the entire tour was excellent. Would highly recommend this tour!
