Lynn was an excellent guide! Her in-depth knowledge of the history, architecture and culture of the hood really shone. Really enjoyed learning about Volunteer Park, for example, and the automotive industry influence on the area in the past (garage doors are everywhere on commercial buildings). Plus she was very generous with her time and threw in a few surprise attractions. Highly recommended!

Lynn was a fantastic guide! A true people person, she was easy to talk to, and she has a natural curiosity and an amazing ability to retain information. This means she has her practiced information to share on the tour, but she can also pivot and respond to questions and anecdotes with bonus stories, details, and recommendations that really enrich the experience. She is a great listener and allowed me to banter a bit and share some of my stories, too! We had an amazing time and learned a lot about Capitol Hill. I particularly enjoyed the espresso at the beginning, trying to dance, discovering secret hidden places, and truly appreciating the differences between thoughtless and thoughtful renovation. Lynn is a super guide to all things Seattle not covered in the ‘Highlights’ kind of tour. If you’re interested in the heart and soul of this city, book this tour.
As we were a small group, we shared our interests and she led us to the best live music venues and bookstores.
Great details about the history of these places added even more depth.
The 3 hours flew by with all this to see!
We will repeat this tour each time we are in Seattle to stay current.
