On the downside, the description of this day tour from Seville to Granada is somewhat misleading. While described as a small group tour that may not be the case . Our tour iinitially included over 20 people on a full size bus with the capacity for more than double that number. Also, when at the Alhambra several more were added to the group bringing the number to around thirty. This was quite a large number of people to be herded around. Fortunately, headsets were provided so it was quite easy to hear the guide whether or not he was always visible. Also, note that the entire tour is in both Spanish and English somewhat limiting time for questions and further explanation of what is being seen.

The description also indicates that you will tour Granada City and stroll through the Albaicin Quarter. What it not mentioned is that, when on the bus, you are informed that the charge is another 15 euro per person for the guide to take you through the quarter. Otherwise, you are dropped off in town with a map and the bus picks you up two hours later to bring you to the Alhambra for the afternoon tour. I believe the guide said you could remain on the bus as an option for the two hours as well.

On the upside, the Alhambra is magnificent. The guide provided by the Alhambra was delightful and did a wonderful job with such a large, bilingual group. Also, I understand it is difficult to book tickets to the Alhambra as a individual and often must be done 2-3 months in advance. Booking with the group at least allowed us to visit the Alhambra during our stay in Seville.

The Alhambra was amazing and beautiful! Our driver, Carlos, was friendly and helpful. We had a small group ride in a van from Seville to Granada. Carlos took us through the Albaicín neighborhood and taught us about the history of the Moors in the area. We had some free time to look around the shops and streets of Granada between the morning Albaicín tour and the afternoon guided tour of the Alhambra. After lunch we met up with our driver who took us to the visitor center at the Alhambra. We were joined up with a tour guide for the Alhambra. She was also very knowledgeable and her English was very good. Unfortunately, the Alhambra tour was in English and Spanish, so there was a lot of wait time in between comments. Most of the tour was in Spanish, so those who didn't understand Spanish did a lot of waiting. Also, the Alhambra palace was very crowded, and for a little while, we were misplaced and separated from our tour group. Overall, we were glad to have made the visit.
