Your tour begins with a 9.30am pickup from your Sorrento hotel by your private guide. Traveling in the comfort of a private vehicle, set out on a scenic drive through the olive groves and lemon orchards of the Sorrentine Coast, admiring views over the Mediterranean.
The first stop of the day is at an olive oil manufacturing facility, where you’ll enjoy a guided tour, visiting the old mill and cultivation areas. Before moving on, you’ll have chance to taste the different types of oil, including a delicious Sorrentine orange flavoured oil, accompanied by tasty dark chocolate.
Continue to Sant’Agata dei due Golfi, a small borough of Massa Lubrense that overlooks the Gulf of Naples and the Isle of Capri. Here, you’ll head to the popular Da Francesco restaurant to tuck into another Italian specialty – pizza. Discover the secrets of making the perfect pizza as you enjoy a pizza making demonstration by the chef, then taste the delicious pizza for yourself, accompanied by a glass of Tuscan wine. Finish your meal with an array of decadent homemade cakes and desserts.
After lunch, head back to Sorrento, where the final stop of the day is the A Puteca e Masaniello deli. Here, you can sample a variety of regional products, including parmigiana di melanzane (eggplant parmesan), prosciutto, mozzarella, and traditional limoncello.
