  • Spend the whole day after your 3-hour tour exploring the museum at your own leisure
This 3-hour tour meets in front of the Hermitage. The exact time of this tour will be told to you one day before due to high demands. The tour usually takes place between 11a.m. and 2p.m.

Because this is a private tour, you can let your guide know the things your most interested in seeing during your time at the museum. Your tour also includes access to the newly opened Faberge Halls, where you can catch sight of the more-than-100-year-old Rothschild egg.

With your guide, you’ll visit the Gold Room where you can see a collection of gold, silver, and royal jewels that belonged to Russian tsars, as well as jewelry from India, Iran, and China.

Once your guided three hours is up, explore the rest of the museum at your own pace. The museum is home to more than three million items — some even dating back to 3,000 B.C. It also has one of the largest collections of painting in the world. You can see artwork created by da Vinci, Rafael, Michelangelo, Rembrandt, Picasso, and El Greco.
