The ballet was great, and I saw a special program Don Quixote. The experience was definitely memorable. The Mariinsky theatre was stunning.
I had trouble picking up the ticket at the box office. Here was what happened. I arranged pick up service with Viator and it was a wise decision. My driver pick me up at the hotel 10 mins early, and he was very sweet and reliable. He dropped me off at Mariinsky theatre and he didn't leave right away. I couldn't pick up the ticket and the lady at the box office was extremely rude. She didn't speak english and she asked me to call the emergency call on the viator voucher. I called the number and nobody was answering the call. I went outside and I saw my driver was still waiting. I asked him for help and he made a couple of phone calls. I barely made it and I would never make the ballet without him. He ensured I went inside okay and then he left.
I strongly recommend you to include the pick up service.
