Can't praise this tip enough. It was very well organised and we were very well looked after. There was only 6 people on our small group tour and our guide (and mini-bus driver) in St Petersburg were a pleasure to spend time with. They made sure our time was well spent and we saw all the important and beautiful sites the city had to offer. Particularly liked the morning river trip and extra special mention of St Petergoff Gardens which I wished we could have spent more time at - awesome place. The lunches were very different but much better than expected. The day trip to Moscow by train was long (4 hours each way but a very comfortable journey) but well worth the 6am start. The guide in Moscow, whilst not as engaging as in St Petersburg, was very knowledgeable and again we saw everything we wanted. Overall, a full on, superb 3 days and a great way to see both cities on a two night cruise ship stop. And... really check this out, it cost a fraction of the amount of a very similar trip offered by the cruise ship. Definitely recommend booking this shore excursion using Alla Tours.
