Begin your 5-hour bike tour in central Vancouver, where you’ll meet your guide in the morning. After a quick safety-briefing and a bike and helmet fitting, you'll set off on an exciting city ride. Along the way, stop for great photo ops, get insider tips and learn fascinating anecdotes about Vancouver’s colorful history from your savvy guide.

First, cruise to the West End, a lovely waterfront neighborhood. Admire the area’s historic homes before heading into Stanley Park. With your small group wind through the remarkable 1,000-acre (405-hectare) green space, a wonderland of 500,000 cedar, fir and hemlock trees. Enjoy splendid vistas of the city skyline, the North Shore Mountains and Mount Baker (on a clear day), and marvel at First Nation totem poles in Brockton Point. Learn about the native people that once inhabited the area, pedal into the rain forest and past Beaver Lake, and spot local wildlife like river otters, herons and bald eagles.

Next, wheel onto the ferry for a quick ride to Granville Island. Here, you’ll have 45 minutes to stroll explore the Public Market – bursting with colorful produce and artisanal goods – and grab lunch (own expense). Then head along False Creek, through Olympic Village to Dr Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden, dubbed the 'world’s top city garden' by National Geographic.

Your half-day tour concludes with a trip through ambient Gastown, the city’s historic logging outpost turned chic shopping and entertainment district. Coast past fine restaurants and boutiques and on to Coal Harbour to watch seaplanes skirt along the Burrard Inlet waterfront. You'll rrive back at the bike rental shop in downtown by mid-afternoon.

Lucas was a phenomenal guide! We enjoy taking bike tours on most of our trips. This was the best bike tour we’ve experienced. We highly recommend it to others.

Our guide DJ was terrific. He had an insider's knowledge of the city and spoke with great pride. It's mostly an easy ride, but there are a few areas of uphill riding. We got the electric booster bike for my wife and it helped her finish the day. You truly see the entire city on this tour!

Unfortunately it was raining and we almost cancelled. So glad we didn't as it was a great way to see more of the city. My partner and I had a private bike tour with 2 knowledgeable tour guides. Definitely well worth it, even when it's raining!

Fantastic way to see Vancouver we had a very knowledgeable and interesting guide. Went through Stanley Park saw the totem poles and wild life. Went round English Bay where there are beautiful views of the ocean and on to Granville Island - great variety of places to pick up a tasty lunch - we opted for slices of Pizza and sat on a bench to eat them but you could have sat inside at other restaurants. Would probably suggest you take a bottle of water with you - it was a lovely warm day when we went but there were places to stop to pick up a bottle. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Vancouver

This tour was so much fun, even though my friend and I were not dressed appropriately. It rained and got chilly, but that didn't damper our experience. Great way to get acquainted with the city and see some amazing sights. The food market was awesome - as was the chicken pot pie. Our guide was great and I would highly recommend this tour.

Great overview of the city. The tour guide we got 9:30 slot was amazing, both very informative and funny. Lots of stops along the way to talk about the various sights. Mostly flat, very few uphills. With the bikes being in great condition, it was an easy ride. Was very happy that we did the tour on our first day in the city because it gave us a lot of insight into what to visit later during our stay. By late afternoon the pedestrian and car traffic made it a little challenging as we wrapped up the tour back in the center of the city nothing too terrible, just required a heightened awareness. Would definitely recommend this tour!
