Our guide was a lovely person and we really enjoyed his company.
My problem with this tour is that the description is misleading and I think what you get with this tour is not worth the money.
One part of the description reads, Create your own itinerary based on your person interests and preferences and visit places that only locals know about in the center of Vienna.
When I reached out to the company to customize our itinerary and schedule a start time that would work for us, I was told the itinerary is already set and to reference the Viator description. I was also not able to customize the start time and had to go with the time I was told by the company. Lastly, we did not see any spots that only locals know about in the center of Vienna.
In addition, we did not learn many details about the history, architecture, famous sights etch... from the actual tour guide. I assumed at this price point our guide would be an expert on some of these details.
The Vienna Ring Sightseeing Tram is self-guided. You wear head phones and listen to a recording. For St. Stephans Cathedral, again it is essentially self guided because we did not really learn anything about the Cathedral itself, the history or the architecture from the actual guide. I could have gone, gotten my ticket and took the elevator up to the top myself very easily. I wanted a private tour so I could actually learn about what I was looking at.
The part I was most excited for was visiting Kahlenberg and the Heurigers which we were able to do. However, we never walked to a UNESCO World Heritage Town of Grinzing. After taking the bus to Kahlenberg, we took another bus to a Heuriger but did not hear any traditional music. The guide was most valuable with this part of the tour because we would have been unsure of how to use the public transportation system to get there ourselves.
All and all, if I had realized this tour was more of having a companion showing you how to navigate the city, rather than an expert who can share knowledge about what we were looking at, I would not have booked this tour.

Fine guide. Unfortunately we had seen most of what people expect to see in Vienna on a previous tour, but our guide filled in just about everything else including a self guided tram tour and a view from the top of St.Stephen's Cathedral.
