What To Expect

Your bike tour will begin in central Vienna, where you’ll meet up with your guide and receive a brief safety overview. Then take off into the city, following your guide along the Ringstrasse, the famous Ring Road showcasing the heart of the Hapsburg dynasty and many of the city’s top attractions.

Soak up the fresh air and stunning Viennese architecture as you pass the Neo-Renaissance design of the Vienna Opera House, City Hall, the House of Parliament and the Hofburg Palace, once home to Marie Antoinette.

Pause to admire the bright hues of the Hundertwasserhaus, a vibrant apartment building designed by Friedensreich Hundertwasser. Pull over at Heroes’ Square to see the historic spot where Hitler delivered his ‘Anschluss’ speech in 1938.

Continue to the Prater amusement park, where you’ll spot the Giant Ferris Wheel, one of the most iconic structures in the city skyline. Afterward, cycle along the blue waters of the Danube before returning to your original departure point.

Ringstrasse (Pass By)

Ride around the Ringstrasse and admire the city’s stately architecture like City Hall, Vienna University and the Houses of Parliament.

Prater (Pass By)

Ride to Prater, Vienna’s popular park, stopping for photos by the Riesenrad Ferris wheel.

Horst was an amazing tour guide full of interesting stories and facts. He did a great job of keeping track of us all. I highly recommend this tour. I didn't think I would be comfortable riding a bike in such a busy city in a foreign country but I was.

The guide was obviously knowledgeable but seemed to be oblivious of the slower members of our group who had to be escorted by other group members- particularly busy time for a trip due to gay pride procession but guide should have taken that into account. His style was more dictatorial than imparting details about the city.

The tour guide was AWESOME and he had incredible knowledge about the area. If it was educational and not that much exercise. In the future I would have booked. a private tour to skip the town and get more riding in. The bikes were well maintained and it was safe. My kids loved it. Again tour guide was fantastic and I would recommend doing private so you can do as much or little biking/history as you want. It was overall wonderful

We did this tour as a family of four. The meeting place was easy to find and the tour guide was very informative. My family had a great time visiting some of the most important tourist sites in Vienna. We had sufficient number of stops and got rest for a few minutes. There was a stop for bathroom break and a little shopping too. Overall highly recommended.

Amazing! This tour was everything we expected and more! Kaspar was our guide and gave us so much history of this beautiful city along the Danube River plus took us to places for great photo opportunities. The tour was longer than the time stated which didn't bother us because of how much we saw and learned. Easy streets to navigate and felt safe the entire time.
