Some dining and food tours of Whistler include a stop at FireRock Lounge, during which participants can taste specially selected dishes. The venue also hosts occasional events, including live music performances and themed parties.
Find the FireRock Lounge in the Westin Resort and Spa at the base of Whistler Mountain, just a short stroll from the Whistler Gondola. Walking from the Village Stroll takes just 5-10 minutes.
The FireRock Lounge is open daily from late morning until after midnight. In winter, things pick up in late afternoon and early evening as skiers and snowboarders come off the mountain and into the lounge.
FireRock Lounge is situated near the Village Olympic Station, the lower station of the Whistler Village Gondola—one of the most heavily-used cable cars in the resort. Climb aboard and ride up to Roundhouse Station. Once there, board the Peak 2 Peak Gondola, which spans the valley between Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains and offers bird’s-eye views of surrounding peaks and glaciers.
