Very best tour ever!

Max was a super fun, knowledgeable guide! The parmesan cheese and balsamic vinegar were my two favorite parts of the tour, but the wine and prosciutto were interesting, also. We got lots of samples. We have taken a lot of Viator tours and this is my favorite! The 6-course Italian meal afterward was fabulous, too! Higly recommend this tour!

The plan was exactly what we wanted - regional food trip - real production facility of the famous regional foods - Parmesan cheese, Prosciutto and Balsamico. Those are area typical and we visited in real authentic sites. The wine vineyard and cellar was also interesting since it was lambrussco production which is entirely different from other (many..) cellars we visited around the world. The guide was very efficient. polite and knowledgeable guy, spoke excellent English. The logistic arrangements were 100 % - the pick up, the vehicle, the welcome in every site, and the typical regional meal we shared. Some people chose the Ferrari village instead of winery, Soul food...

Great day. Very informative and entertaining guide. Lunch was generous and a great way to experience Italian cuisine.
Great tour with a lot of interesting sites; lunch was subpar

The food and wine tour portion was excellent. The guide was very engaging, the van was nice, and the four sites we went to were incredibly interesting. There was a lot of food and wine provided throughout, and everyone seemed to have a blast (including us). Truly a 5* experience. I thought the dinner was subpar. The place they took us to was clearly a large restaurant designed to serve large groups of tourists. The food was decent (they made the pasta fresh upstairs), and to their credit, they kept the wine flowing through the entire meal. I just wouldn't consider it a "gourmet lunch". Also, our our guide was non-existant at the restaurant - no explanation of the food we were eating, or about the area, which was kind of a bummer. But we were full after the meal, and delivered back at the hotel when they said we would be. If I were doing this tour again, I'd look into doing the food and wine tour without the meal, if possible.

The food tour around Bologna Italy was just marvelous. The pick-up and drop off was timely and the van was comfortable. We saw, and tasted, how parmaggian, prosciutto, and balsamic vinegar were made, went to the Ferrari factory and museum, and then had a marvelous lunch with wine. The whole day was interesting and fun, and our guide kept the whole day humorously moving along. We were so glad to have taken the tour and we learned lots about this region of Italy.

I believe my tour guides name was Andrea. He was energetic and very knowledgeable about the different processes in balsamic, cheese, and prosciutto. I would highly recommend this tour, especially with Andrea.

So good this was our second time! Visiting Bologna with friends we wanted them to experience the same amazing food tour we had gone on a year earlier. Worth it!
