Our tour guide was personable, knowledgeable and entertaining!!! The minibus had wifi, comfortable seats, complimentary water and the driver gave us chocolate and other treats throughout the day.
As we drove through various areas our driver/tour guide told us about the history of the area, recent events and other interesting facts. Each location we visited exceed my expectations! The tour was well paced so that you could enjoy each location.
This is worth your time and money. We had Lilly and she was incredibly fun and energetic. She drives and tours at the same time. You will not be bored. The sites speak for themselves, but she also has great insights and plenty of historical knowledge for everything you will see on the way. Just book it.
So glad we booked the small group tour with The English Bus rather than a large group tour. Johnny was knowledgeable, entertaining, and helpful, as one member of my family was in a wheelchair during the trip. The day tour was entertaining for adults and children. Highly recommended!
This small group tour is the way to go. Our guide, Johny was very entertaining which made a very long trip fun and enjoyable. If you want to see Stonehenge forget the big buses and try The English Bus. We went to London to see the Saints play Miami at Wembley Stadium and our Saints won! The trip to Stonehenge with Johny's comedy was the next best attraction.
Bath was amazing. Stonehenge is nice to see. Wish we could have spent more time at the secret place.
Lilly makes the trip. She is bubbly and very insightful. Don't know how many times she took us on back roads to avoid heavy traffic. Make sure you join her on the walking tour in Bath
We had a great time, with our tour guide Andrew educating us on all things English on our way to the headline sights. Nothing much to see at Stonehenge, but we could have spent more time at Bath. Tour was excellent, we'd go to Bath again.
We really enjoyed our whole day tour with Colins and our favorite was the Bath tour! The city was full of amazing architecture and you couldn't really go around the city given the limited time.... I would plan an overnight stay next time so we could see the city and experience all it has to offer! Stonehenge was amazing too. Colins was also very informative and knowledgeable and quite engaging! I give him a 5 star rating too as a tour guide!
The tour was amazing!! Our tour guide Lilly was extremely knowledgeable and an excellent driver. The secret location could not have been more fun and interesting. I would recommend the English Bus tour highly!!
I was in London for five weeks and this was my favourite tour. There was a lot of construction around the pickup point and I was the last one to find it, but tour guide Andrew's charm and corny jokes soon put me back in a good mood. I was not expecting to be bowled over by Stonehenge given some of the other online comments, but it was awesome! The secret place -- complete with curious sheep -- was well chosen as a lead-in to the main event, and Andrew's genuine passion for Stonehenge and its mysteries prepared us well for understanding the significance of what we were about to experience. He clearly had mastered the subject and was able to answer questions at any level of factual or philosophical complexity. The decision to take us there as the last stop provided the opportunity for a magnificent sunset as a backdrop. There were few enough people at the site that is was easy to take pictures without other people in them, adding to the impression of timelessness. The visit to Bath was enchanting and there was plenty of time to have lunch and see the nearby points of interest. The vehicle was comfortable and I appreciated the only demonstration of on-board safety equipment and exits that I experienced while travelling in the UK.
