We really enjoyed this walking tour of Valletta. Matthew was a great guide - knowledgeable and engaging. We learnt loads about the city's history right up to the modern day.
Matthew was so good that when he was asked about Mdina and he mentioned that he was doing a tour there later in the day, we got the bus there so we could do that one with him too. We weren't disappointed - that was also excellent.

Matthew our guide was very knowledgeable and the tour was paced well. The history of Malta was fascinating and I would recommend this tour. Especially liked the fact that this was a small group tour with 7 people altogether.

Very good tour, lots of interesting info about Valetta and Malta in general. The tour is advertised as a small group up to 15 people we were 25 people in the group... did not feel small. It was at times difficult to hear the guide.

Matthew was our tour guide and he had tons of knowledge and a nice personality. My issue with the tour is that we did not enter any buildings except for one small free church. When info about the tour said it did not include entrance fees I did not understand that meant we would not enter any buildings. By about 2/3 through the tour several couples had disappeared and my husband and I realized our time was being eaten up and yet we saw nothing. We thanked Matthew, gave him a tip and left. Standing outside St. John's Co-Cathedral and looking at the advertising photos on the ticket sign while Matthew described the interior does not make up for entering the building. We were disappointed.

Herbert was amazing! Great tour, great knowledge of Malta. We usually try to take a city tour within the first 24 hours of being in a new place to get a feel for the city. This one set us up for other great afternoons and evenings in the city.

Its a very nice opportunity to get some insights into Vallettas history and mindset. Our guide Herbert made the stories come to life.

Herbert was an excellent tour guide. He was extremely knowledgeable about all things Malta. He kept a lively but accommodating pace. His love of his homeland was clear in his descriptions of history as well as Malta today. Thank you!
