    Snorkeling with the manta rays is a unique experience. They are simply gorgeous animals. Also Penida Island is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. The tour was well organised and the guides were very helpful.

    Enjoyed the trip to the island. I did the snorkeling part, but there wasn’t much to see. That is how snorkeling is. I enjoyed the ride out and back. It was worth it for that. I had Dede as my tour guide on the island. He was remarkable. My favorite tour guide of the whole trip.

    Great experience, the guides are all friendly and make you feel at ease. Lunch with options to choose from, simple but very good and you can order other items off the menu for free. Snorkeling ok, nothing exuberant. Very beautiful places visited.

    The day started off very unorganised and was some confusion between staff and customers. We missed the boat that we were scheduled for so waited for the next one. When we arrived on Nusa Penida, we met our guide who was very friendly and knowledge of the local community/area. He made the day for us, took care of us and got us water when needed.

    Nusa Penida Overrated

    They picked us up at 7, we arrived at the pier and waited a long time to leave, we left after 9 in the morning. Upon arrival at the pier, my husband went to exchange currency and the tour people began to harass me, asking me very personal questions and taking photos of me even when I didn’t want to and then they were asking us what currency we had and how much we had changed, from the beginning it made us feel unsafe. The Nusa Penida driver was very friendly and helpful, that was the only good thing about the tour. The "lunch" if you can call that a lunch, that was included was terrible, bad taste and the portion was smaller than a kid’s menu.

    Not all inclusive

    This tour is all around very rough and disorganized. The boat rides were chaotic and seemed dangerous. Plus, the guides charged us $60 USD for both lunch and snorkeling which viator said was included with this tour. With that, our guide was very unattendive and just left us multiple times during the day. Nusa Penida is a beautiful Island but I would recommend using another service to go through.

    This was a very long day of not much... The island has some very beautiful views and photo ops but I wouldn't suggest booking a tour. Instead, buy your own boat transfer tickets, rent a moped/vespa, and explore the island on your own. This tour was mostly just driving around the island to the different locations only to spend 30 minutes at most at each location. I mean there really isn't much to do at the location but to take photos. While driving to different locations, our tour guide fell asleep in the car... The provide lunch was not good at all. After we visiting all the beautiful spots, we got to spend a very limited time at the beach. Our tour guide told us we only had an hour to spend at the beach so after our hour was up, we met up with him by the car to take us back to the dock to return to Bali. Once we got there, we asked how long until we board the boat and he told us they'd start boarding in an hour. We were very frustrated and told him that we could've spent more time at the beach instead of sitting around waiting for the boat. Overall did not enjoy and were very disappointed.
    DON’T BOOK THIS TOUR

    Terrible experience! We spent majority of the day (at least 3-4 hours) in the car on a bumpy road. When we finally arrived to Kelingiking Beach, after driving to Broken beach (not beautiful and very dirty) our tour guide told us we don’t have time left to hike down and actually enjoy the beautiful place, we had 10-15 minutes to take a picture and we had to leave. After we drove another 45 minutes on a bumpy road to Crystal Bay that wasn’t worth it and we wished we stayed at Kelingiking Beach. Tour guide was very nice but spoke little English and couldn’t understand us. I would recommend booking this tour only with one stop at Kelingiking Beach and bring snacks with you and spend all day at the beautiful beach and swimming in turquoise water all day. Unfortunately we couldn’t do it because of the agenda of this tour. Our driver from hotel to the harbor was really nice, we enjoyed talking to him and learning more about local culture.

    I was surprised to find that we had a driver and a guide with just the two of us for the whole day. They were very helpful and friendly and the beaches that we saw were so beautiful. It was a great day trip I was also impressed that they picked us up and dropped us off at our hote even though we were some distance from the wharf that the boat left from

    Nusa Penida

    Nusa Penida is a beautiful island and the day tour is completely worth the effort. Brace for being in the sun and drink lots of coconut water. The tour was well organized, seamless and worth the beautiful views!! Only reason I have rated 4 is the guide who joined us at Sanur beach and kept sitting and singing loudly in the car on Nusa Penida! Did not do anything!

    First we were picked up by our driver Tole at 7am which was very efficient and on-time. The drive took 30 mins to the bay where lots of people were queued to get tickets for the boats, we had to wait till 8:30 to get on the boats. To get on the boats you HAD to remove your shoes and put them in a big basket with everyone else’s, and walk to the boat in the sea. The outwards boat ride is 30 mins and wasn’t bad, but getting off the boat (with no shoes as they had been taken!) onto coral and rocks was very uncomfortable! There were drivers on the beach with a signs with your name, we were told we would have an English speaking guide - our driver did not speak much English although he was polite. The first three beaches were very pretty but the stay at these was not long and seemed only to get pictures and leave. Lunch was quite pleasant and clean, despite the flies which are common. The Crystal beach was very crowded and quite a bit of plastic around - all the beach beds were taken, but managed to find a shaded bit as it was blistering hot! We found our driver early and left to go back to the harbour where there is a pleasant beach club - would’ve preferred to go straight there if we knew the state of the last beach of this was an option! All the roads were very narrow rough tracks throughout. We were slightly pressurised to make a trip advisor review at the beach club (therefore I can see where most the good reviews come from!) Boat trip on the way back was CRAZY! We walked way out to get the boat, very chopped journey, then leaving the boat was at HIGH TIDE - NOT SAFE especially with kids - many people has their feet cut. Water shoes are a MUST. Overall quite traumatic experience, not much said by our guide, but the first few beaches were pretty just wished we had more time for them!

    Disappointed. Nusa Penida is NOT ready for tourism ! There will be accidents ! Purchased the tour from Viator trusting all would be in order. Make a long (5 hour) story short: 1) getting on the Ferry is ‘life threatening’ – most of the guys helping the people to board the boat are careless and irresponsible. I fell off trying to get on the boat – sea was choppy and of course it made it very difficult to get your balance and be able to set your foot on the very small step in ‘back’ of the ferry, next to five ‘huge’ motors … huge wave came and literally threw my off the step – THANK God it was not towards the motors next to me but to the opposite side, otherwise I have no doubt I would have gotten very hurt ! 2) CHAOTIC on the island ! thousands of tourists been transported in hundreds of vans to get you to the picture spots ! sometimes waiting 20 minutes in the same place so the vans coming from the opposite direction could get thru …. once there everyone pushing each other to get the desired “Instagram” shot ! 3) The drive back, traffic was so backed up from the hundreds of vans all going back to the beach at the same time, that we had to get off the van and walk a good distance (blocks) not to miss the ferry…….. not to mention that in order to get back on the ferry one must walk on top of corals which, if you don’t have water shoes would be impossible to do. But you’re not getting on the ferry just yet………need to get on a small dingy which transports you to the ferry …… then jump from one to the other … this happens in the deep ! 4) To this day I’m not sure if we were supposed to have one or two guides with us in the car – the driver seemed normal – the guy sitting next to him seemed unstable – ‘nonstop’ talking ‘NONSTOP’ to the driver for the entire 5-hour trip. Could say more……… I think it’s plenty ! CRAZY !

    We spent most of the time in the car going from one beach to the next. The roads were so bumpy that we wanted to throw up! The roads had too much traffic which made us spend most of the time in the car. We just visited 3 different spots only to take some pictures for 10 minutes and then go to the next spot. Stopped for lunch at a restaurant in the jungle. The food was so bad that we didn't eat anything eventhough we had already paid for it. Dirty place, rude personel and really bad food. The last beach we went to have some relaxing time and swim was so full of trush that we didn't even go in the water. We just asked our driver to take us back to the port. Our driver was a cool guy who tried to make this trip less painful.. although that wasn't easy to do... I feel like we wasted one full day of our holiday!

    Beautiful trip I really recommend who come to Bali . 12 hours your on bus and boat . I visited many place in Suna Penida , the driver pick up from he hotel he is really nice and patient on traffic and waiting pick up end of tour . Beautiful sunset when came back to Bali by the fast boat . I really enjoyed the Nusa Penida day tour . Recommend if who doesn’t has many day in Bali can take the trip like this . The your company is really 👍. I am happy 😃
