The small group city tour was just what I wanted. We saw all the popular sights that are advertised tourist attractions and spent the right amount of time at each one. Many don't require much time. We were then free to go on to places that held our interest, such as the Eva Peron Museum and a tour of the Teatro Colon. The company was right on time to pick us up at our hotel, though the traffic slowed down picking up the other participants. The tour guide was very engaging, lively and informative and the group size was just right. The driver did an amazing job in the traffic in mid-city. We took the option of the boat ride, which was disappointing. The boat goes out into the bay and returns you only see the new skyline. The personnel were pleasant and provided coffee and a snack, but there wasn't much to see. It was relaxing if you need a quiet respite. The company driver and car were at the boat dock when we arrived back and were kind enough to deliver us to the Teatro Colon for our tour there he was willing to take us to our hotel or anywhere in the downtown area. It worked out very well.

While I have been a big fan of Viator, having used its services many times, and often recommended the company's tours and excursions to others, I felt that Viator completely let me down with this tour. The tour advertised and the tour provided were not the same. While the tour was to include in this order sites, the boat ride, and being dropped off in the city center, this was not the case. Instead, among the 20 or so people of our tour, we were the only ones that selected the boat ride. So, we were left at the dock for the boat ride and the coach took off. The tour guide told me there would be transportation waiting for us at the end of the ride. However,at the boat excursion desk, staff told me there would be no transportation afterward. I called the local tour operator while waiting for the boat. I heard the same story - we were on our own after the boat ride. While the boat ride was fine, we had to walk miles afterward from the dock. Am I still a loyal customer? Not so much.
