I really enjoyed the Bongorong sanctuary. The views from Mt. Wellington was awesome too. Richmond was a nice stopoff

Although our view at Mt Wellington was obstructed by clouds it was still very pretty and there was a view going up and down the mountain. Since the view was obstructed it might have been good for the driver to pull over for a quick photo stop on the way down.
The Wildlife Sanctuary was very interesting and more casual than a normal zoo with the kangaroos wandering around the park.
The stop at Richmond was a bit long for what was available (or a bit short if you wanted to tour the jail.) I still feel the tour was worth the price and much cheaper than the ship's tours.
They got us back to the ship in plenty of time and the vehicles were just fine. It was nice that the vehicles were smaller than the normal cruise buses.

We highly recommend this tour.. I’m from Los Angeles, this tour served it purpose, we got to get a picture with the koala, wombat and kangaroos in bonorang wild life.. we love this place..our tour guide jack is very knowledgeable .. he brought us to places in Hobart.. mt Wellington is breath taking.. Richmond is nice.. we ate meat pie and is very good.. get this tour instead of getting the tour in the cruise

Fantastic tour! Learned so much. Wildlife Sanctuary was the highlight for me

This tour was interesting because of the variety. Mt. Wellington was windy with beautiful views. Richmond was a quaint old town but we chose to eat and wander rather than go to the museum on the convicts. There was not time for both. The Wildlife sanctuary was most interesting as we learned about Tasmanian Develis and Wombats. We also fed many kangaroos. The main problem was that we were there on Good Friday and had a substitute bus driver rather than a tour guide. We had hoped to hear stories about the convicts and learn about the area. We wish the tour company had contacted us ahead of time to give us the option of going on the tour.

Had a great day after we got changed to the new driver. First never said a word, so we didn't even realize he was only a temporary driver

Really a neat tour. The wildlife sanctuary got you up close and personal with the animals. Mt. Wellington sights are extraordinary. We were told we would not have enough time for lunch in Richmond, but we went to the hotel, ordered off the bar menu and had a very good quick lunch.
