This was an excellent experience especially for someone who has never been to Nashville. The drivers were so friendly and had a great deal of knowledge about the city. I would highly recommended this tour!
A group of 6 of us came from OHIO 5 were 65 and older!! Trolley was way 2 packed, some drivers let u stand others did not!! 100° degrees out and we waited 45 minutes for a Trolley in the sun because the drivers kept telling us wait for the next one, we r sending another right away or no room.

Very disappointed. I've done a lot of these hop-on hop-off tours in various cities. This was the worst. The driver/guide was obnoxious and told me very little about Nashville. When we stopped at Vanderbilt University, a woman tried to get on thinking it was the our hop-on hop-off company. The driver was incredibly rude to her and rather then telling us anything meaningful about Vanderbilt, he spent the next 5 minutes complaining about "tourists like her" and the other company. My recommendation - go with the other company. We didn't bother with the second day we had available to us.
2 friends from Florida came to visit (I live in Franklin) and we had a wonderful day on the hop on/off trolley. We had 3 different drivers/spokespersons but our favorite, by far, was the duo of J.D. and Christy. They were funny, friendly, personable and informative. Of course you can't select your tour guides but I hope you get them. Be sure you get off and have a meal at Farmers' market (and don't miss the ice cream at Jenni's). Make time for the tour through the State Capitol which lasts about 45 minutes. Partake of the whisky tasting at the Marathon stop although I wasn't as impressed with the rest of the shops, etc here as I thought I would be. If you haven't been through the Parthenon it is well worth the cost of admission. I am sorry we didn't do Union station but we ran out of time! If you go in the summer, take water. Start your tour early; the first leaves from the train station at 9:00 but give it time to get to the Parthenon or Farmers' Market (where parking is free) and get on there. Then you can get off at the train station and get your boarding pass there. Parking at the train station is $35 for 8 hours; that's how long we stayed on the tour! We had no long lines or long waits at the stops. The only crowded trolley was the last one of the day. Make a full day of this and wear comfortable shoes.
I visited with my family and best friend Nashville last week. We decided to get this trolley pass since the price is pretty affordable for two days and the route is wide and interesting. The drivers are entertaining, nice and willing to help. We had a blast riding with them and they had amazing recommendations. The tickets were fairly cheap compared to other tour buses in the area. The trolleys are nice and have AC. But, the first problem we find is that the map is quite inaccurate, some stops (like 11 or 12) you do not really know where they are unless you have gotten off on them. Also, the frequency was a huge problem. We are told that buses come every 20-30 minutes but you might find yourself waiting more than that in some cases. The company itself is very professional and willing to help. I would definitely try to improve the map accuracy and try to get the drivers to not skip stops so that the waits are shorter for those who are waiting.
