Every thing was well organized, the transfer was with public bus. Only 35 minutes inside tge castle, no chance to stay longer and watch all the wonderful things. But this is not a fault of viator or the tourguide. She did a very good job, could explain a lot, was nice to listen to her. She talked English and German, very important for our mixed group. Neuschwanstein is worth to visit, I recommend the morning tour, after lunch it was getting crowded. If possible, stay some more hours, and enjoy this beautiful castle !

The castle is set in an absolutely fabulous location and is beautiful. While the setting is fantastic and tour itself leaves a lot to be desired. Very little history was discussed and the number of visitors should be more controlled. Two bus loads of tourists arrived at the same time that we arrived and promptly swamped our private tour. My recommendation would be to visit at a time that is not as popular. Very much worth the trip from Heidelberg on the Romantic Highway. We rented a car and enjoyed the scenery along the way. We happened upon a small city called Worm pronounced with a V which turned out to be a highlight of our visit.

The guide spent more time in proving why he is important in this tour and giving lengthy lectures and giving very less time to actually view castle at the bridge. You end up following him because he will leave you behind otherwise. You can find all the information he gave online and loose the main purpose of actually to visit and see the castle. Forgot the Guy name but he was from Egypt and tour started from Fussen European Castle tours office.

Castle was very interesting but a little hurried. Unfortunately it rained most of the time. Definitely worth paying for the carriage ride up and back, especially with weather as it was.

THIS CASTLE TOUR WAS IN MY BUCKET LIST AND VIATOR MADE IT ALL HAPPENED IN A DAY TOUR...WE DIDN'T DO THE HORSE-DRAWN CARRIAGE RIDE BECAUSE OF SO MANY PEOPLE WAITING AND IT WAS KIND OF A SLOW PROCESS...NEVERTHELESS, THE TOUR OF THE CASTLE AND THE BRIDGE WAS ALREADY A DREAM CAME TRUE! It was great. The guide Amir was friendly and gave us a lot of details of Bavarian history and of the Neuschwanstein story.

Due to the inclement weather and some road issues they were bringing the cattle down from the mountains? we took a bus up the road and returned via the carriage ride. It was definitely worth it as we didn't wait in line and our guide was great!

Excellent guide. Very knowledgeable. Easy to contact on WhatsApp to set up meeting place other than Füssen met in Schwangau since we were driving from Garmisch. The skip-the-line feature was well worth it. A bit of a hike walking up the hill to the castle entrance, but the view, photo opportunities, and the guides info made you quickly forget about that. The kids loved the horse carriage ride down. We sat up front next to the coachman. The inside tour, itself, was given by the castle staff. Also very good.

Castle portion excellent, really worth it. Tour has the 'going down in a horse drawn carriage' but that didn't happen, we had to walk down. Apparently that is totally up to those with the carriages if they want to work that day.
