I have always wanted to meet with a local chef and experience the regional cuisine. Our guide Pam met us at the designated meeting place and we had to walk about 15 minutes to the Chefs house. It was not a problem for me,, but we had several people that had a very difficult time making the trek, Once we arrived at the home, we had to climb several floors to reach the chefs apartment. Again, it wasn’t an issue for me, however, maybe Viator needs to be more descriptive about how difficult it might be for some people. Anyway we made it to the Rooftop and the view was glorious! The chefs were accommodating and patient. Chef made it fun and interactive! It was a beautiful evening, with lots of wine and pasta! I had a ball and the food was delicious! I want wait to go home and attempt to make pasta on my own!
The cooking class hold at a private home at the top floor. The terrace is so nice with the view and open air. We were amazed by that. We learned to make the ravioli and Tiramisu from scratch.They are both very simple but and basic but tasty. I would recommend this cooking class to you if you are looking for something different to do in Rome:)
Our cooking class with Luca and Francesco was an awesome experience. I was a little skeptical when we first booked it because I wasnt sure if it was going to be worth it. We researched a bunch of different classes but eventually settled on this class, and we couldnt be happier with our choice. Luca and Francesco were both fantastic teachers and made the entire night very memorable. The small group setting worked perfectly as you got enough attention to make sure you didnt mess up any of the pasta. The meal ended up being delicious and probably one of the best ones during our stay in Rome. If you're deciding between a few classes, dont hesitate to pick this one!
Absolutely loved this Pasta Making Class with Francesco and Manuela. It was a great, unique activity to participate in, in Rome. We had the opportunity to make 2 different pastas from scratch...and it was nice to relax after and enjoy the food that we'd all made ..a great team effort with good instruction from our talented chefs. We just missed out on learning to make Tiramisu as that class starts in April, but we'll be back. Thanks again to both Francesco and Manuela!! Would definitely recommend this class and do it again!
