Native Artists Exhibit In a protected courtyard outside Guayasamín Museum, look for the collection of folk art paintings by the artists of Tigua, an Andean village north of Quito. Painted in vibrant color and a distinctive style, the painters depict detailed scenes of everyday rural life under the shadow of snow-capped Quilotoa Volcano. Guayasamín created this special place to honor the work of these humble artists.
