The tour guide, the places we visited could not be rated any lower. Unfortunately the tour wasn't completely as advertised but the guide did his best to accommodate some closures. I was extremely impressed with T'Gallant's account of their wines, warm and inviting surroundings and a knowledgeable host, the Goat farm and the cider establishment opened my eyes to new and healthy or not so healthy ways to drink and eat food , the Chocolate factory was just a simple tasting of some different chocolate combinations that I hadn't tasted before and the ride home was adventurous with heaps of great picture opportunities. I would be impressed it the tour included the gondolas to the top of Arthurs Seat. Noe that would have been worth something. The only negative comment is that the pick up was not at or even close to the hotel I was staying in and not knowing anything about public transport made it hard to negotiate meeting the bus. Check before you go to meet the bus. Viator check your hotel listing its out of date AAT are doing their own thing and don't take any notice of the list. The hotel I was staying in was on the list and AAT wouldn't pick up from there. Outside of the drama, I do recommend this tour its was fun and enjoyable, I would most likely do it again but have lunch at one of the vineyards. The aroma of the food was breathtaking at two of the vineyards. Its was a very pleasant day amongst some very loverly people. Well done VIATOR

The day trip was well arranged and I got to visit the fabulous chocolate, strawberries and wine and cheese places .... the best part of course was the olive farm. The visits were well paced and it has been a very relaxing and enjoyable day for those who want to just tour around and have some nice munchies, but not to sit in the coach for too long between stops.

I enjoyed this tour as it was jam packed with lots of great places to enjoy food and wine. Simon was a good tour guide and did his best to keep us on a schedule that had at least one too many stops. I was not happy with the discrepancies between how this tour was advertised on the Viator web site and what was actually included in the tour. First it was advertised that there were hotel pick ups, and it had a very detailed list of times and hotels. This did not happen. I was informed in advance that I would need to travel about a mile from my hotel to catch the bus. It turns out it was pouring rain that morning in Melbourne and the pick up site had NO covered area to wait. in front of St Paul's Cathedral I was soaked before I even started this excursion. The description on the website included a stop/entrance at Enchanted Adventure Garden, but instead we did 2 wine tastings and a cider tasting. I had a good time seeing the Mornington Peninsula, but I felt rushed and did not like the change in itinerary from what was posted.

Puffing Billy Steam Train & Healesville Wildlife Sanctuary Tour From Melbourne | mar 2020
The train is a beautiful train - that takes you through the suburbs. You are greeted by a slew of people at different vantage points taking pictures of the train & waving to the occupants. Many from homes you pass seem to make it out to ensure you are given a very hearty hello/wave.

Phillip Island Penguin Parade Evening Tour | mar 2020
Our original trip had to be rescheduled due to lack of numbers and we were changed from just an evening trip to a half day trip.We had already done some of the things like feeding kangaroos and meeting Koala Bears but still enjoyed the experience. The tour bus driver was very good and kept us entertained throughout the almost 2 hour journey. The Penguin parade was fascinating and as we had the penguin plus package we were very close to the penguins when they came out of the water and walked within inches of us.

Phillip Island Tour from Melbourne | mar 2020
Great tour with Roger. Enjoyed all the stops along the way just as much as the penguin parade itself. I booked the ranger tour which was nice bc you get a good seat right where loads of penguins come out of the ocean. Plus they give you binoculars which helps a lot - they are little penguins! Would recommend to anyone looking for a good day trip.

Melbourne City Sights Morning Tour with Optional Yarra Cruise | mar 2020
Driver Roger was great. Whole trip was very informative and seeing Melbourne for first time was very interesting. He took the time to explain where we were and even stopped at different places allowing for photo shots. Would highly recommend this trip for first timers to Melbourne. River cruise was bit disappointing as we saw where we have been on the bus. Upstream would have been more interesting as would have included city sights, but apparently depends on the tide.

We purchased the guided tour and saw over 1200 penguins. The bus driver Paul was fantastic also. On the trip out we saw wallaby’s and echidnas in the wild. At the wild animal park we saw Tasmanian Devils fed kangaroos and emus and koalas.

Little penguins

Phillip Island Tour from Melbourne | mar 2020
Pickup was easy but at the pier would have been better. We took the tram to town ($16 Aus each) and had to walk about two blocks, return was easier as the bus dropped us off back at the pier gates. Our driver was very personable, well spoken and polite. His driving was very good and while he had a sense of humor he never did the really cheesy, corny comments often used by tour guides. He pointed out numerous facts about life in the region, the history, weather etc and was quick to answer questions asked by those on the bus. Our visit to the wildlife refuge was a good one (other than the weather) and we got to see Koala's, kangaroos (some with Joey's in the pouch), dingos etc. While it would be better to see them in the wild this was an up close encounter that wouldn't be possible otherwise. We did see numerous Walabee's in the wild when we got to Phillip Island. The little penguins were the reason for the tour and we were well pleased. Again the weather was a problem, but once it cleared we got to see a lot of the cute little guys. We did the "ranger tour" and would recommend doing the same as we were able to get down closer and see better and on a night where the weather limited the time it made a big difference. On the return the driver stopped the narrative and allowed the passengers to get some sleep before a midnight return to their hotels or ship, Highly recommend.

Phillip Island Penguin Parade Evening Tour | feb 2020
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to see these adorable penguins march from the sea. To their homes at night. We bought the Apenguines a Plus spot to get a really great look at these wonderful creatures up close. The downer is the distance to an from Melbourne - but if you prepare for a late night it is not a big deal. We got back to our hotel around 12:30am so, depending on traffic and how close you are on the route - could be earlier or later. Well worth it. Highly memorable.

Great Ocean Road Trip Tour from Melbourne | feb 2020
I’ve done Great Ocean Road tour many times with families and friends from overseas and used different companies every time. Since i would be bringing my parents who are in their late 70’s, I am thinking of their comfort since it is a long hour tour. AAT did not disappoint me and I thank them for making my parents see God’s amazing creations enjoy the experience and make it memorable.

Excellent! I highly recommend this tour. Our driver, Keith, was very informative and gave us several photo opportunities along the way. The penguin parade was amazing. We reserved Penguin Plus and sat on the platform. Penguins walked right by us and under our feet. Dress appropriately as it gets rather cool.

Puffing Billy Steam Train & Healesville Wildlife Sanctuary Tour From Melbourne | feb 2020
The Puffing Billy Steam Train Experience was fantastic, it took me back to my childhood and journeying on the narrow guage railway in North Wales [The Bleaneau Festiniog ] Railway. The visit to the Healsville Wildlife Sanctuary started off well. however, the place was hit by a thunder storm and everything closed down, the walkways were awash with water, most of the group were soaked to the skin, with very little cover - only the Gift Shop remained open. We had to wait from 2.30 until 3.45pm before we were picked up again
