This tour was very interesting, with the guide being flexible with the schedule and stopping at several locations not included in the itinerary. Unfortunately the water level in the lake and river was low but we still saw the fishing village on stilts and the floating village on the lake. The lunchtime meal was at a local tourist restaurant and was OK. Beng Mea Lea Temple was very different to Angkor Wat in that it is largely in ruins with little reconstruction having been done. There were some steps to negotiate when walking through the temple but it was a much easier walk than the Angkor Wat/Angkor Thom tour.

This was actually my favorite temple that I visited. I liked that it was surrounded by tree and it feel like you were in the jungle. I visited this temple as a day trip which included visiting a few villages and a boat ride out to some floating houses. My guide was excellent.

4-Hour Tonle Sap Sunset Dinner Cruise from Siem Reap | dic 2019
Average trip, best parts were a good tour guide (Vanna), sunset on the boat and open bar. Food is average and the boat ride is nothing spectacular. You ride down a pretty dirty river with another 30 or so boats doing similar tours. The actual floating villages were neat to see as well.

Not bad - but please do not set your expectation too high!

4-Hour Tonle Sap Sunset Dinner Cruise from Siem Reap | oct 2019
The wooden boat is smaller compared to what I have expected. Guide explained very routinely on the car drive on the way from hotel and jetty, than nothing more on the boat. I would suggest the guide to use microphone and explained more things along the waterway. We did make a stop at crocodile farm to look at the few dozens of crocodiles piling in a narrow pit and moved on, finally reaching to the two-storeyed Queen Tara boat, the bigger boat to serve food and sunset view. At least, food and drinks are fine and view is spectacular. I am just comparing with sunset cruise at Laung Prabang in Laos which provides better vessel, cuisines and tour guide, as well as community entertainment on the way - at a relatively lesser rate.

We thoroughly enjoyed our sunset cruise. It was a good start to our stay in Siem Reap. The guide was informative and very friendly. The food on the cruise was good. I think that the visit to the crocodile farm wasn't necessary. It was a good way of warding off sleep on the day of arrival. Beautiful sunset.

The guide explain the details.. nothing much to see on the floating village aside from the crocodile.. it was like 40min on boat to reach the floating village.. the dinner buffer was simply and there are like few of us in the big boat , feel like private boat dinner buffet.. good place to see sunset. overall is good..

The trip was really interesting. The water was pretty disgusting and we all got rashes after swimming in it, but I consider it a once in a lifetime activity, so I would still recommend it :

Kompong Khleang Day Tour from Siem Reap | abr 2018

Everything that we did on this tour was interesting - the floating village, seeing the houses on stilts, etc. However, we booked it to see the school and visit with the school children, and we didn't do that. Apparently the Thursday that we did the tour they were off of school. That would have been good to know in advance as we would have re-scheduled to a different day. The tour guide was knowledgeable and the lunch was great.

4-Hour Tonle Sap Sunset Dinner Cruise from Siem Reap | mar 2018

Not many people at this time of year so it was almost a private tour. Fun to see the lake and floating homes. The fish and crocodile farm was not much to see. Dinner on the big boat was very relaxing and the sun set was beautiful.

Full-Day Tonle Sap Lake and Floating Villages Cruise from Siem Reap | nov 2017

Great tour of the floating village. Seeing the town complete with churches, schools, mechanics and crocodile farms was fascinating. Lunch on the Queen Tara was very relaxing. Our guide's accent was very thick and his English difficult to understand. However, he was very friendly and accommodating. The only downer was being confronted with women trying to sell us plates with photos of ourselves as we arrived back at the jetty. I hadn't known my photo was being taken when I boarded the boat, including that of my three-year-old daughter. Privacy and taking photos without permission is not an issue in Cambodia

The tour on Tonle Sap was excellent and we were extremely fortunate to experience a wonderful sunset over the lake. The dinner was great and boat ride to the floating village was was smooth even though we had a very big downpour at one stage. Sam our tour guide was a real character - friendly and full of charm. Would highly recommend this tour if visiting Siem Reap. Margaret R

Day Trip to Phnom Kulen Mountain from Siem Reap | oct 2017

This is an amazing tour , one of our best so far.
The mountain and water falls are fantastic.
Bring a backpack and carry your shoes or be prepared to pay children who have watched them for you, while you walk around the mountain barefoot. Also, some places around the river we were charged to take photos.
There is a wet, slippery climb and lots of stairs so not for some not prepared for adventure
About an hour and a half drive from city.
