Malaysia 2019 -- Amazing Tour! Edison = Best Tour Guide!

Edison was absolutely the best tour guide!! So professional, kind, and took great care of my Mother and Myself. This was our first Private Day Trip on a month-long vacation, and it could not have been a better start. Edison pulled up on time at our hotel in Singapore, with 2 drivers in a very nice, comfortable van and drove us straight to Malaysia. Crossing over the border was efficient and we didn't even have to get out of the vehicle. All our stops were so picturesque and we cannot stop talking about this tour and our experiences. Thanks so much Edison for all your hard work and dedication to making the first leg of our trip so memorable! Also, we were very impressed with the thoroughness of knowledge that Edison had, at all the places of history we were taken, and loved his advice on items to order at lunch. Highly recommend Edison and this tour to Kuala Lumpur and Malacca. Hugs, Lisa Johnson (Mom) & Jordan Johnson (Daughter)

An awesome tour with our knowledgeable guide, Eddison. Job well done. Met our expectations of the tour. The climb at the Batu Caves was delightful though too tiring with 272 steps of the stairway to get to the caves. The Petronas twin towers were fantastic. We were guided to the 86th floor to have a magnificent view of the city. Great tour in Malacca with its historical places. Meals were wonderful. This tour is recommendable.

Excellent tour! Exceeding expectations! Have no doubt, this is a long day. You are picked up at your hotel promptly at 4:30 am and you'll return no earlier than 9 pm that night. The tour guide Eddison was beyond excellent, attentive, prepared, we loved him. The two drivers alternated during the day to stay fresh, they were great, very professional. Wear shorts, dress for hot and humid weather, bring sun-screen. Be ready to cover a lot of ground in one day. We let Eddison pick the places to eat and let him order for us, it was perfect, tried some things we wouldn't have known to try. I could go on, but the summary is, this tour was exactly as advertised and well worth the price.

My wife and I had a fabulous tour of Malacca and Kuala Lumpur with Eddison, our driver/guide for the day. He was very knowledgeable about the places we visited, paced out a very busy day so that it was quite manageable, and most importantly for a tour that involves some very long stretches of driving, he was an excellent driver. He also chose very good places for our breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with a variety of local cuisine that added to our enjoyment of the day. Note that this tour makes for a very long day. In our case, pick-up at our hotel in Singapore was at 4:30 in the morning, and we didn't return until 9:30 that evening although unusually heavy traffic on the highway in Malaysia slowed our return down considerably. This means you will not be able to linger overly long in any one spot if you want to see everything that Eddison has packed into the tour, but still, if you want to get a taste of Malaysia while staying in Singapore, this is a great way to do it. Yes, it's a long day, but being able to visit the very historical city of Malacca and the quite beautiful Kuala Lumpur, including a trip up to the observation deck in the Petronas twin towers, was well worth it. We're very glad we did it, and would recommend this tour, and Eddison, to anyone who would like to experience a little bit of Malaysia while staying in Singapore.

There is no getting round the fact that there is a lot of driving, but never more than 1 1/2 hours. Despite this it is a very good way at seeing two places in Malaysia. You reach Malacca early for breakfast and the sun just rising. Although places are not open, the old fort, water front are always open and there is plenty of time to wander round without any other tourists. The boat trip is fun - look out for Monitor lizards. On the way out there was a large group but on the way back I was alone and had a personal tour. Kuala Lumpur is a large city, but you see the main sites. It is worth including the Petronus Tower visit as the views are amazing! Each meal was a different type with Chinese for breakfast, Indian for lunch and Malaysian for supper. Very filling but all very tasty and gives a food flavour for the country as well. A summary card for each city was given at the end which helps remember everything I saw.
