El Museo de Bellas Artes abre todos los días excepto el Día de Acción de Gracias y Navidad. El horario diario es de 10 am a 5 pm; el museo está abierto hasta las 8 pm los jueves y está abierto de 12 pm a 5 pm los domingos. El último boleto de admisión se vende a las 5:15 pm La entrada general cuesta $ 17 para adultos, $ 15 para personas mayores de 65 años y tarifas especiales para niños y estudiantes. La entrada después de las 5 pm el jueves cuesta $ 5.

Things to Know Before You Go

  • The museum has permanent and temporary exhibits, making it an intriguing stop for first-time visitors and St. Petersburg locals alike.
  • The fully-accessible museum offers wheelchairs on a first-come-first-served basis and ASL interpreted tours are available with three weeks of advance notice.
  • Food and drinks are not allowed in the galleries but you can enjoy a waterfront meal at the MFA Cafe and pick up souvenirs at the museum shop.
  • Photography is welcome but flash photography and tripods are not.
  • The museum hosts kid-focused activities and family days.
  • Strollers are permitted in most of the exhibits but some galleries have limitations.

How to Get There

The museum is located between Beach Drive and Bayshore Drive. It can be easily reached by car, bike, or public transportation from other St. Petersburg attractions and accommodations. Meter parking is available on both sides of the museum.

The museum is open daily, with guided tours offered twice a day (only one tour on Sunday). The museum has extended hours and discounted admission on Thursday evenings.

Visiting the Salvador Dalí Museum Set on the waterfront just a 15-minute walk from MFA is the Salvador Dalí Museum—another must-see for St. Petersburg visitors. The building itself is a work of art and inside you can explore the largest collection of Salvador Dalí artwork outside of Spain. Exhibits include a vast array of art from throughout his expansive career, ranging from paintings and drawings to sculptures and photographs. Plus, the museum’s Cafe Gala introduces visitors to Spanish food and history.
