Traslado en Budapest: desde el aeropuerto de Budapest a hoteles

My husband and I have been very pleased with Viator and have used them all over the world. However, this time in Budapest we had a little problem. Our flight was delayed from Lisbon to Budapest, so I called Viator Customer Service in Budapest to inform them of our new arrival time. The agent said no problem and will make the necessary arrangements. Unfortunately, when we arrived in Budapest after a very long day of international travel, Viator was not at the airport to meet us. I called again, and was told they were not aware of any change but would arrange a car. It took an hour for the driver to arrive. The driver was very nice, and mistakes happen. It was just very inconvienent.

The driver had to be contacted as he had not arrived on time. The number provided eventually worked but took a while for them to answer. Due to the kindness of Viking cruise lady and another driver, they were able to determine where driver was and when he would arrive. I had to meet the driver outside: he never had my name on board in airport as instructed. I would recommend a different company for airport transfers.

Driver picked me up from airport and gave another employee a ride back to their car. He then preceded to ask me for my hotel information which I thought he should've had from my reservation. Once we reached hotel area, he dropped me off a street nearby. I had to figure out where hotel was located.

I had also booked the Transfer: Budapest Hotel to Airport. When I contacted them to confirm pick up time, they couldn't confirm what time or location. They suggested to wait by a main street nearby! Granted this would have been around 5:45AM. I requested to be picked up in front of hotel, but ended up calling back to cancel. I booked a taxi directly from hotel.

Was very easy to find, punctual. Very clean car and the driver was very helpful! Gave good tips on how to get around the city.

Bad taxi company of this transfer. I have had booked this Taxi company in advance and I did not get to pickup by the taxi company. They are advertised their services under Viator website. When I met the stuffs who were waiting for other clients, they had refused to bring me to my hotel. They kept saying that their company is not dealing with Viator website anymore, they advised me to take other taxi.
Eventually I was waiting for 1 hour before I took an airport taxi to brought me to my hotel. The next day I checked the company who has operated airport pickup. It is appeared to be the same company as runs the BIG BUS Budapest HOP ON HOP OFF Tour!! So if anybody want to book the taxi pickup please check the name of taxi company who is operating it would be best.

Simply put, the driver failed to appear. I had to beg a tourist representative in the airport to make a call on his personal phone to get someone to come and get me. This is not what you need when you arrive after a cross-Atlantic flight. Please return my money.

No reflection on Viator I have been traveling with them for years and highly
rommend them to others. But....this was not a good experience. We waited 1 1/2 hrs before leaving the airport after traveling for 30 hours. I had to wait 1/2 hour for a group of six to arrive from another flight, then we were told that the van broke down so they had to get another van and driver, hence the 90 minute wait.
I will continue to use Viator but I would not recommend this operator.

Very professional, and safe, and reliable. A guy was waiting for me in the arrivals hall with my name on a board. I had to wait only a couple minutes before taken in a van to my hotel.

Very professional. There was a lady waiting at the arrivals terminal with my name on a board. I only waited a couple minutes, then had a van take me to my hotel. Very good service, which I'd recommend.
