This excursion was by far one of the best highlights of my solo trip to France. Id never ventured overseas, let alone on my own, so it was
Important that I see as much as I could during my time in the south of France. This boat ride allowed me the chance to see a bit of Cannes before and after the ride and the gorgeous coastline, and to hear the stories of the Lerins Islands. Check-in was easy. The tour operator explained the ferry would take me to a small island to transfer to the catamaran. Both the ferry and the catamaran left promptly. T
The catamarans captain and crew were very accommodating and I was fortunate enough to share the ride with very nice passengers. The best part was dropping anchor alongside other vessels and enjoying the water. The snacks were just enough and the facilities on the boat were clean and safe. I recommend this excursion to anyone who is looking for a quick getaway from the mainland, a chance to take a dip in the Mediterranean and/or amazing photos of the breathtaking views.
This trip is nothing short of amazing! The boat is beautiful and spacious. The waters they take you to are clear and refreshing. The views are unlike anything you will ever see and to top it off the food/drink selection is great as well. We selected the all day experience and are so glad we did! Great way to start our honeymoon and visit to Cannes!
This tour was really awesome and was a great way to spend the day off of the cruise ship. The boat was big and was super nice - top of the line! The tour was really nice and we got to see a lot and my kids loved swimming in the sea. We stopped at several really amazing places and the water was crystal clear! After lunch we stopped and picked up a ton of new passengers and the afternoon was not as enjoyable - too many people on the boat. I realize the boat holds 50 but maximum capacity is never fun in any situation. The water and stop was better in the AM than the PM. Note there are jellyfish in the water and they pretty prevalent. This did not stop my family from swimming but it did impact some on the boat. The other feedback I have is that the crew could have been more friendly. They answered questions when asked but they did not engage in discussion and they did not announce when there were meals and drinks. Some of this could be cultural I am from the US and we are typically engage more with people. Overall, a great day and I would do the trip, again, but may only select the half day over the full day.
A really fun afternoon out. It wasnt that easy to find the right tour as there were lots of other tours operating in the area. However we found it in time and the staff were very helpful.
The sea was quite choppy so we werent able to go out as far as planned. In spite of that the crew were really good and we all really enjoyed ourselves immensely the children simply had a fantastic time swimming in the sea.
Awesome. Just the right amount of time on a yacht. The crew was nice and the boat was beautiful. Of course, one cannot get enough champagne, but alas, they only serve you one glass, so don't expect an endless supply. All drinks after that have a charge example: glass of wine 10 euro. No food either, except nuts and small cracker puffs. Don't get me wrong, I was there for the cruise and it was spectacular.
This isn't bad, but there are far better boat trips. Issues being:
- There is only space at the 'good part' of the front of the boar for 7/8 people, and there's a horrible scrum of people pushing to get on first and reserve these spots for the day, not the idyllic start
- It says 10am - 2.30pm, but realistically the boat doesn't leave until 10.45, and drops you off at 2, so not exactly as advertised.
- Lunch is ok - plenty of food but nothing particularly exceptional in terms of quality
- Nice stopping point but very busy area with boats are far from an outstanding beauty spot, nice enough in between some empty islands but pizza takeaway boats rushing past every 10 mins!
Perhaps we got lucky with a similar style boat trip for a similar style price in Mykonos, but it was just so much better than this - this just seemed very commercial, group is too large with around 25 people on the boat, so not a particularly personable experience.
For 80 it doesn't seem bad value, but not a thrilling experience.
Great day out on the Croisiere.
Nice, big, spacious catamaran. Snacks and soft drinks were available all day, with lunch and wine in the afternoon.
Some nice scenery along the way and a couple of stops to go swimming. Some jellyfish at the first stop.... yikes!
Instructions to find the dock aren't the best - you go to the main ticket offices at the end of the Quai Labeouf, where you have to collect your ticket/boarding pass your printed voucher doesn't get you onto the boat!
Boat was really nice, clean, all amenities that you'd expect - overall a great day trip, although I'd say it's a bit overpriced!
As an alternative to one of the Beaches we chose to join the 7 hour cruise with lunch. To order tickets were easy, to enter the ship was easy no paper tickets were necessary, and the catamaran was new, clean and spacious. 7 hours were not too long, as we were a little bit afraid of before we went. THe experience is highly recommended. Rgds L. Hjeltgaard
